Could be self defence. Sayaka was desperate to get out and said that she did some bad things to be an idol. Those getting out would probably ruin her career which she's sacrificed everything for. So let's say Sayaka stole Hiro's handbook and went into the boys changing room to kill someone and make it seem like it could only be a boy. Maybe Mondo and Chihiro trained together and it was all going to turn out alright, then Sayaka tried to attack Chihiro, thinking that Mondo had already left, but Mondo protected Chihiro by killing her. Mondo doesn't come clean immediately because he doesn't want to tell Chihiro's secret.

Maybe togami is hidden somewhere? Or maybe he kills her after de BDA of Chihiro when everyone is gone for a while. Chihiro seems like a way easier target. I just cant see Kyoko die first tbh, she seems like someone that needs to be tricked with something massive that like a death. Also the second deaths in chapter 3 are often the one that lead to downfalls. It would make sense that Kyoko did something before dying to make sure her killer gets caught

I have a theory, as mentioned by @LemonBug in another comment. Mondo killed Sayake to protect Chihiro, this would lead into chapter 3 were Chihiro tries to become braver. Togami kills kyoko cause he's aware of her sharp wits, however Chihiro being brave actively made him go out of his way to check up on people / investigate. This leads to him disscovering Togami's crime which is why he gets killed as well, maybe he even tried fighting Togami to really prove to himself his growth. Toko eventually figures it out and despite her obsession she brings justice. In the trail I wouldn't be surprised if he used her feelings against her / she did it herself and in chapter 4 gets a character arc
With the tentative exception of Mondo, a lot of these make sense! Something must've _really_ set Mondo off if he was willing to murder a woman though. Glad Sakura, Leon and Hifumi lived! And I'm not surprised Lucky Boi Makoto did XD
Because in actual game, Toko has a crush on Byakuya and thought that it would lead to a romantic relationship. So I think in this AU, Toko would be so heartbroken and have no other choice but to expose Byakuya as the 3rd chapter's culprit.

I actually did one of these in chpt 1 sayaka killed mukuro, makoto got punished for breaking the rules, toko got killed by Celeste, hifumi somehow killed mondo and sakura, and taka couldn't handle mondos death and committed suicide :(, oh and also yasahiro was the mastermind

Yasuhiro happened to encounter Hifumi, he knocked him out unconscious and Yasuhiro took his key to the trash room, he threw the bloody clothing in the incinerator and turned it on.
== Chapter Two, 第2章 == Sayaka Maizono was killed in the girls' locker room, this time, she isn't a hermaphrodite or a trap like Chihiro, she literally went to the girls' locker room to get those thoughts about killing someone out of her head. But as she left the locker room, she encountered Mondo, she wanted to become strong, but he was jealous of that happening, so he struck her with a nearby trophy and left her body there, which happens to attract Byakuya, he took her body to the girls' locker room, which he happens to have Aoi's handbook, he took like the evidence that would make like Toko did it because he is sick and tired of her following him.
== Chapter Three, 第3章 == Chihiro wasn't an accomplice, but she was a trap, Byakuya noticed that she was a trap, he couldn't hesitate to attempt to kill Byakuya, but he manages to refrain from his attack, he ended up getting his head split open by his own weapon of choice, probably a dumbbell. Kyoko saw the corpse, and bumped into Byakuya, she saw the corpse, so she was a witness. Byakuya had no choice but to choke her, he slammed her head into the heavy weight, he wrapped her body in tarp and put them in the art storage including Chihiro.

Chapter 6 Celeste hosted the killing game for own enjoyment and even went to extremes making it obvious she was the mastermind giving hint after hint. Celeste executed herself to feel despair and the sweet relief of death.
Theory: Roles; Toko: team danganronpa had chosen Toko as the protagonist, seeing as she was the ultimate writer and was very successful, she would be able to analyse situations better than the blind eye due to her creative skills and also because they wanted to see how genocide jill would make things go along Taka: they had chosen taka as the support character to help toko with difficult decisions due to being the ultimate moral compass and being able to consider other people's feelings. Mukuro: mukuro was chosen to be the antagonist due to wanting to wash the world in despair becauee of junko's manipulation, yet bring unsuccessful to get the role of the mastermind. Celestia as the mm: she had decided to be the mastermind in order to expierement on the ither subjects and see how they face despair and hard situations. Case breakdowns; Case 1. Yasuhiro murdered aoi due to her attempting to murder him because she saw him as useless and decided that he was useless. Case 2: mondo got sick and tired of everyone obessing over sayaka so he invited her to the gym to discuss business, then out of pure rage hit her on the head. Then, he saw toko become genocide jill and stole from byakuya the genocide jill cases and decided to mimic them using taka's help. Case 3: byakuya had been embarrassed by kyoko several times throughout the class trials, so as revenge after case 2 he crafted a plan he thought was undefeatable, until chihiro stepped in and had to get murdered. ngl when I didn't know Danganronpa (I like knew it existed and some of the characters but I didn't know like who got killed and who's the mastermind, ect.) I thought Toko was the protagonist and Celestia was the mastermind 😐
