I started out 10+ years ago like everyone else with 1/32 set and cars. When I bought my 1st 1/24 car all I had was the standard wall power supply of 13.8V that comes with the 1/32 car sets. I didn't have the $50+ for a power supply but I did have money for $6 short can motor. After the motor change I could now run on the standard power supply. Well I ended up being hooked on 1/24 cars and sold all my 1/32 cars. I converted about a dozen 1/24 cars before I broke down and bought an adjustable power supply. I already had so many converted cars so I just kept going. 60+ now.
