i love how the commentators totally ignore Jeilan and in the end he beats the commentators' best choice....sweet victory
mo farah is ready to kick anyone ass, whether is jeilan or anyone from this planet, mo bites everyone here, the guy was injured and still run like this, mo is the legend of athletics. well done mooooooooooo.
This is why I love distance racing. 6 miles and it ends with a separation of less than a second.
Amazing race. Intense as hell.
What a great last lap
Last lap in less than 52 sec. UNREAL!!!
ዋዉ የማይሰለቸኝ ሩጫ በጣም በጣም ጎበዝ
ETHIOPIA - Land of legendary long distance runners! Seems like another one is born. … This race tops for me as high as Haile Gebreselassie's win over Paul Tergat in 2000. Can't get enough of it. As a young man, I used to mimic the legend Ethiopian Mirutse Yifter's technique used to win over Craig Virgin in competitions. They should bring that method back. … But, kudos to IBRAHIM JEILAN!!! Outstanding! Phenomenal! … Best of luck in the future!!!
mo farah thank u bro
I feel sorry for poor somali born running for GBR did not know what hit him at the end of the race. What a finsh by Ibrahim Jeilan of Ethiopia.
the last 100 meter by jelan was 12 second and the first 50 meter of the 100m he ran in 5second. The journalist i dont blame him for predicting jelan has lost.
Kazi nzuri jeilani, wewe ni pora!
incredible finish.....
last lap was faster than my 400m sprint. LOL
Yeah I get what you were saying now, I thought you were detracting from them a little bit. It's all good. Most people (who don't understand running) don't get what these guys do... it really is fun to just marvel at how good they are!
incredible they are really superhumans
to understand these feat you have to be a runner and see how hard that is
Juan Carlos Romero Mexico, se te extrañara en las pistas.
Do you understand what a 70.4 lap really is? That is approximately 4:42 pace per mile, a speed many people can't sustain for even half a mile. To run 4:42 for one mile is actually a pretty impressive feat, but to talk about sustaining it for 6.2 miles is probably out of the question unless you are a top NCAA guy or professional.
Never underestimate what freakish performances these guys throw down. There is a reason they are Olympians. Jeilan's second 5k was 13:21 with a 52 last lap. Scary.
Betam betam betam gobez 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍......
That was insane
great race it was
the last lap was the best
He made it
Of course...thats why I said for a "few laps"...around 1-3 at best. Their 1st and 2nd lap (2nd one, now that I resaw the video, was around 75 seconds) is varsity mile speed pace for the mile. I dont know about their 3rd and 4th ones but Im assuming that theyre around the same place or they broke out of the high 60-sec lap pace. I wasnt underestimating them in any way, sorry if I wrote it that way.
JEIRAN goooood!!!!!
Christ those times are insane .. 41min is my best for 10k
Galen did well to hang on for most of the race. Exciting finish!
Last lap was actually exactly 53.11s. Still insane.
No había visto este 10km, pensé que Mohamed Farah solo había cometido un error, aquí hubo otro, muy mala distribución de la carrera (ultima 2 vueltas); pero excelente carrera de Ibrahim Jeilan.
Mo Farah 7 global titles and counting.
spaventoso un treno finale a 2,27 km
lol as someone already said the commentators keep thinking Rupp is Tegenkamp _
Jeilan 🙏
Good for you.
Wow this 10k was faster than the 2012 Olympics by FARRRR!
anbesachin👌👍💟
i laughed when he said jeilan was the "sacrificial lamb" for the other ethiopians
last lap isnt human
unbelievable jelan snatched gold from farahe
@josemourin Uh, no. I was talking about Galen Rupp, an American runner.
respect farax and even if he was a real farax his head chines like farax
Did Jailain participated in the London Olympics? Didnt see him, injured??
ማሻአላህጎበዝአኩሪ
Mcham ymayersa
their second lap was 70.4....so us rookie runners can bypass them for a few laps :)
He does have a point about people bragging about their personal bests though, did you want someone to applaud/praise you here for your 800m time (idk if its good or bad)?
They kept mixing up Rupp and Tegenkamp near the end...
Do the last place runners go home empty handed (no prize money at all)?
why jeilan dint participated 2012 olympics. anyone?
Marriage and injury kept him away
Last time I ran 800m it was in 2:21 and I was gasping for air and they just jogged that shit in 2:20 and have 23 more laps to run..-___- Makes me feel like shit!
galen rupp ran very badly in this race
Most people cant even run a single lap under 1minute (60s)
my 10k is 29 min.
I wish they would cut this bowing to Mecca shit out after the race. Its a race, not a Mosque. There is a time for place for everything.
Chimera Mirage how about the Christian football/soccer players doing the cross before they enter the pitch? Don't be a hypocrite targeting only one group.
well first you have to run like them before yo advise.
Farah sucks!!! He is so weak, when it starts getting hot he cant keep up..,!
Yes, the current Olympic, World and European Champion in the 5000 meter and 10000 meter distances totally sucks.
dude know your shit before talking please.
Farah only win because there are no great rivals in the events. He is happy that the true great runners like Kennenisa Bekele And Haile Grebresalasie and more is focus on the roads, otherwise Farah wouldnt have won nothing. think about it. Tell me a time when Farah have run a sub 13 min on 5000 meter? or sub 27min on a 10000m? thats right, you cant!! Farah can only win when the pace is slow, but because there isnt any great runners in the event right know, he looks like hes good.
Farah has run sub 13 in the 5k and sub 27 in the 10k. You can find it at this link. www.all-athletics.com/node/35632
Again, I'm not going to argue your opinion but I will state the facts. He's run sub 13 and 27 and is the current European, World and Olympic Champion in the 5k and 10k.
Also Farah, Bekele and Haile hit their respective primes in the 5k and 10k during different periods of time. I'll let you Google that.
Andrew Walker look at the other comment i send you.. He has run a sub 5k 1 time! and a sub 27k only 2 times, people like Haile and Bekele did it over 20 times.!! And yes they hit there primes in different periods of time, but a World Record is not lying! in my eyes, the guy who has the Wolrd Record is the best.!
Claud Black Claud Black, i could eat you, cause your name is Black, so you are Black right? ;D
Amazing race. Intense as hell.
Mo Farah 7 global titles and counting.
