I guess one of my set backs is I’m afraid I can’t afford to live somewhere safe and decent. And I don’t want to leave a ain’t-shit-job just to struggle to find another ain’t-shit-job on top of moving. The uncertainty makes me cringe.
Yes, uncertainty is scary just remember that everything will never be perfect, if that is what you are waiting on you will be waiting for quite a while. The beginning of a transition more than likely will always be rocky just prepare for as much as you can and take off running, you can do it!

I hear you ❤ A wise person once told me if we don't try... then we already have a "no" or "It didn't work out." If we try then we could change that "No" into an "It's the best thing that's ever happened to me."
Kind of like that person that tries to sell you a product... if they never ask you to buy it... the answer from you will always be no. ❤

Your video is definitely the truth!!!!! I would advise anyone that wants to move. Pray and have big faith. Also faith without works is dead. Trust me God can and he will. Some of these apartment leasing office staff have hearts and can be understanding of your situation. Just trust God and be very honest with them. What’s meant to be will be. Don’t let one NO discourage you. We didn’t tell many people at all that we were moving. Only a very few select people. Trust me your transition will be so much better.

I’m at work right now, driving for the central Ohio transit authority (COTA) just on a layover and in a situation right now where life has t-bones me and I wasn’t prepared! Money spent, septic tank backed up in my basement, landlord wants me to move and my toddlers and I have now where to move to... I applied for an apartment closed to where they’re babysitter lives and was told my credit didn’t meet their criteria:( I just want to say thank you for helping me to stay positive and focused because it’s easy to lose sight of what’s important. That I need to realize that there is ALWAYS another way around any situation or circumstance. Thank you again sis! Respect ✊🏾

I just went through this. The using your old check stubs from your previous job works. I did that and was approved (I'll be moved in Dec). It definitely works. But because of my work history I've been getting so many calls and emails about jobs so I know I'll have something soon as I'm there.
Yes, that’s great! I definitely only recommend it in a situation like yours where you KNOW you will get there and find a job. A lot of people don’t have that drive/hustle.

Did you change how much you made? I work at Amazon and make enough to pay bills but these rental agencies be wanting you to make 3x the rent and I only make 2x lol idk if I should change the dates and how much I make or just the dates
@@Luvv.yolandaaa no, I didn't, but I made over 3xs so it wasn't wasn't issue. If you don't though, and you didn't hear this from me, but there are places that will make you stubs. I did that once for an apt when I didn't make enough and got approved.
@@prfctlymprfctbeauty I’m going from Ohio to Tyler Texas 😭. I hadn’t seen anyone else comment from Ohio going to Texas. Pretty cool! I won’t be moving till the summer though because I’m finishing my undergrad degree in May and my current lease will be up in June

My issue (I’m sure a few heads are in this similar situation) is that my parents are ‘working’ to better their credit currently. I have no existing credit. I just began building mine a month ago. So they can’t help, but I’ll look into the options you provided. I was thinking of AirB&B momentarily. My circumstances certainly limits options. Money is no problem for me. One can always land a job. Especially in these huge city markets. But I’m really laying out what’s plausible in this scenario. What are your thoughts, TaeTV? If any.
There are a lot of apartments that will approve you even if you have no credit or bad credit, most will just make you pay 1 or 2 months of rent upfront or your move in deposit will be more.

This video was great!! So I have bad credit and I’m working on it, I’m also a hair stylist so the best I can show is bank statements and PayPal statements. I also have a great savings right now...a little under 10K. My question is what does landlords typically look for on bank statements? Do they just want to see your deposits? Or your full statements?😩
You really can finesse it depending on the place. They do like to see statements but I show what I want to show it that makes sense lol
@@taelormadex lol I just got denied to a place on 3/30 that I truly wanted in Charlotte, but it’s because I lied about my previous rental history (because I left two months early and had a balance) when I should’ve just been honest, but I did provide bank statements, it was literally the first page that shows the deposits, withdrawals, and the balance lol. I don’t wanna show what I been buying 😩 lawd
@@VickandK324 I would definitely advise being honest! They are human just like you and honesty works! Just remember do not give up, somewhere will approve you even if it’s somewhere you don’t want to be use that time to get yourself together.

That’s funny lol I used to have a pet snake but I haven’t seen not one snake in Texas lol, I’ve never heard of them being an issue here either 😂

She was leaving that thing roaming around the house, I saw a tail and ran out her house lol. I saw it on Google that there is an infestation happening lol, am moving in September lol Lord help me

I appreciate this info outside of the last part lol... I'm not sure that applying for unlimited amounts of apartments is such a good idea if most of them run a hard inquiry on your credit report. Wouldn't that drastically drop your score? Otherwise, I do appreciate the tips and info... Stay solid loved one.

I wouldn’t view credit as a major setback, I didn’t have any either. It was not a pretty score lol! Good luck just go for it & apply to apartments with free application fees so you don’t lose anything if they don’t accept you.

Heyy I was just wondering how they accepted paystubs from your last job?? Would apartments usually be cool with this?!???
If you get paid under the table where you don’t receive a paycheck or have a checking account. You need to have a checking account, so they can see when you get paid and how much so for instance cash apps that you receive can be used as income but you need to make sure that you can show proof of that it’s steady income.
All apartments aren’t as strict as you would think, you just have to fish around/chance it lol, they literally accepted a screenshot 😂 🤷🏽♀️

Nothing 😭 I just used one of my Amazon checks it was only like $1300 maybeeee lol I just know if I have nothing to fall back on I go harder and not having money made me grind harder to find a job in Dallas

This doesn't apply for the state of Florida. INSPITE of every owner in the complex being home with no job!
Just Friday…got disapproved even though I make 3.5x the rent..Its a new job..on a journey to correct my credit so I thought my paystubs wouldn’t win them over but boy was I wrong
Cyber Credible made biweekly stubs showing 3x the rent for my apartment and it was verified when I uploaded it now I got the apartment and my move in date is set as well
