I am a nerd, I read the manual. However be careful with the duke. Just slightly to much tension and it will cause the seal to drip. I have been adjusting mine to 3mm now because of that however I get mild chain slap at 3mm but no drip. I am going to ride this bike till the end of time.
No the closer to the swing arm the chain can go, the looser the chain. Unlike normal, the manual wants you to measure the distance between the chain and swing arm under light upward pressure instead of chain slack.
Thanks for the video! Others were adjusting the chain by feel. I needed a proper ruler in the mix.

Nice simple video! Very Helpful.
I learned a lot, thank you! Now I can adjust it all on my own now :D
Awesome! What bike do you ride?
Wouldn't 5 be tighter?
