I think It would be so cool to see a “moods baby name list.” My name is Cheyenne, but my close family has always called me “Chey” which sounds like “Shy.” I’ve heard a few times that “Chey is shy!” And I think there are other names that work too like Bliss or Marvel. Kind of weird, but might be a cool concept!
I’m so happy you mentioned Evangeline in this video as I just commented on an old video about my great-grandma named EvangelinA :) my cousin and I are named Eva and Angelina because of her! I didn’t even know the meaning either which is beautiful!
This has been my favourite list so far. I love iris/a, alessia, oriana, fiadh and maeve. Other name meanings I love includes anastasia - she will rise again, Molly - star of the sea, aurora - dawn and eleanor - shining light. Rose, starry, bloom, phoenix and blossom are lovely too
Baby name Monday’s!!🥳🥳🥳 My faves from this list; 1.Irisa 2. Evangeline 3. Farrah 4. Alessia 5. Aina 6. Fiadh 7. Saoirse (I absolutely love Saorise Ronan as Jo in little women😍) 8. Maeve 9. Novelli 10. Iridessa Thank you for making these videos! Really brightens my day! (Btw today is my birthday🙂🙃)
I love how name trends are different in every country. Here in Argentina Valentina is such a common and classic name. And the way you say Esperanza is okay 😃. LOVE Saorise 😍
Such gorgeous names!! I love so many on this list! I really like Danica, Evangeline, Farrah, Esperanza, Alessia, Fiadh, Maeve, and Iradessa!! Valentina I absolutely love and it’s near the top of my list! I’m so glad you mentioned Saoirse, as it is my baby cousin’s middle name! Great video!!! ☺️
Love Fiadh 🥰 My fave name meanings Winika:Christmas orchid Halia:Remembrance of a loved one Lunette/Lunetta:Little moon Luana:Lion/Graceful warrior Rella:Small Brooke Ayla:Moonlight halo/oak tree Hartley:Meadow deer
our president just announced our countries potential lockdown, so i’ve come away from that feeling very anxious - as we’ve just been doing self isolation the past week or so. your channel is SUCH a brilliant escape, and i was really looking forward to your upload tonight SJ 💞 thank you! 💫
Eden Isaacs potential? They’re building that wall to prevent their victims from escaping to the country that’s created the problems in hopes they’ll be safe there... but it will get better... as soon as he’s gone and someone better replaces him... like Bernie perhaps...
Herta Schneider i’m from South Africa 🇿🇦 and currently am living in Namibia 🇳🇦 which is a separate country, but our economies are linked. so basically we do follow similar rules etc. the SA president came on this evening to say that South Africa will be on lockdown from Thursday, however we are waiting for our Namibian president to follow suit..hopefully in the morning. so that’s what i mean by ‘potential’ lockdown 🌈 hope everyone’s staying safe in this very scary time!
Eden Isaacs ahh the best country! What city? And Namibia is great too! And yeah, I know, and I follow the news so I know already... and agreed, and thanks for letting me know and sorry I assumed you’re american :p but he probably will! At least Zuma is out of office, though Ramaphosa isn’t much better...
I love your videos! I am no where close to having a baby, but I’ve always been obsessed with baby names since I was a little girl. I discovered your channel right when the Covid-19 out break started and it’s been such a light!
Another beautiful name with the ending "essa" I feel like is "Inessa". It's actually my name and I have to say its really unpopular where I live and I get alot of compliments for it😊
My name finally made a list!! I do pronounce the full thing differently though :p Danica: Duh-Nee-Kuh, instead of Dan-ick-uh :D I usually do go by Nica though so glad that made it as well! I'd love a list of star, sun and moon related names to keep the theme for any future littles ^.^ 💜
had I been a valentine’s day baby(I’m just before it!) - my mom was going to go with valentina! so cute! I absolutely love evangeline too, so beautiful! sending lots of love and thoughts to your family, SJ!❤️ thank you for keeping our spirits up!
What a great baby name list. Amazing names. A few I really like are. Lahra: cheerfull, happy (I mean how positive can a name be 😁) Hestia: goddess of hearth and family Eloise: healthy Anwyn: very fair
Danica has been a fave of mine since high school, the meaning is too perfect! Valentina is now a top 100 name in the US! A's in Spanish are said as "aw", so it would be esper-AWN-za. Alessia is gorgeous isn't it? Fiadh is a perfect Sofia alternative! Saoirse is one of my all time fave girl names, one I'd use in a heartbeat if I ever got my hubby on board! It IS gaining some popularity in the US, which is shocking cause I feel like most people here are "scared" of hard spellings. I have a 15 y/o cousin named Maeve Madilyn!
I love the name Alessia! I didn't expect to come across a new favourite at this point in my name enthusiast life. It flows so well with almost any middle name as well! Oooh, I love it!
Aina is also an Arabic name. It means eyes. Name with similar meanings in Arabic are Ain, Aini and Ainun. Its so common in my country that I know a few people with these names.
Sunny is such a cute name as well! You couldn't get more positive and it would suit a beautiful spring/summer baby. Also, it's not too used but very wearable!
Your irish name pronunciations are on point haha! I think Fiadh is so cute, but In my tiny village there was two born last year alone so it’s just that little too popular in Ireland for me! 🤍
I would love to see more boy names (especially middle names) on your channel! I am in the process of adopting my foster love and I am on the hunt for unique boy middle names!
I got so excited when I saw my name came up! My mom named me Maeve back in 2001 when it was not on anyone’s radar and she named me after the queen as we are very irish ! Love you SJ! Stay safe xoxo
Hi all, I am struggling to name my baby girl due in July. I just heard the name Nella and wanted to hear what everyone thought of it. The meaning is shining light which I love. Thank you.
Ugh you make these names sound so beautiful and they just don't sound the same in my slight southern accent 😭😭 lol but these videos are definitely calming and positive during this time 💞
love all of your baby naming Monday videos! have you ever thought of doing a unique puppy name list? I don't have kiddos but I am getting a puppy and have been watching these videos for ideas. (:
I live in Quebec, Canada, and here, we speak french. In Quebec, the name Maeva (a slight variant of Maeve) is everywhere! It's fun to see how names change depending on the language you speak. Also, I know a Novalie and a Noellie (noel being Christmas) but I had never heard of Novelli, which I think is just as cute!
Have you done any double barrel names? I love double barrel (db) names and am considering a db combo if we ever have another little girl. Wondering about db etiquette? To hyphen or not, etc! Currently we have an Olive Josephine that I often call.Olive Jo or Ottie Jo (sometimes just OJ) and an Adalee Mae who I thought we'd call Addie Mae but more often is Addie Lee or Lee Mae. But the new name I have picked out is a name I'd prefer for people to always call her by both...so?
I absolutely love the name Fiadh it’s on my baby name list, you should do more Irish baby name list, I know you already have one boy and one girl but there are so many Irish names that I love and would love to hear some that I haven’t heard before
I absolutely love your videos SJ 💛 but just two quick things (from an Irish girl) Áine is spelled like this and not Aina.. you said it correctly though 😊 and in Ireland the more common spelling of Méabh is like this 😊
I just uploaded a baby names video and included the name Maeve 🥰 it’s one of my favourites! 👌 I also included Nova as I’ve loved that for a while, Novelli is cute as well! Xx
Hi SJ I love baby name Mondays. I am pregnant with my second daughter. 1st daughters name is Lexi Jewel. I like short names and am leaning towards Sunshine as a middle name. Any suggestions would be very welcome x
The first time I heard the name Evangeline was on the British TV series, The House of Eliott. I have loved the name ever since. Fiadh and Maeve are fantastic names.
Maeve is Indeed a lovely name! Novelli sounds a bit off to me 'cause I'm italian and I've Always Heard It as a Surname, not a name; on the contrary Valentina and Alessia are very popular names in Italy!!
I’m 16 weeks pregnant and love the name Maeve!!!!! We have a 2syllable surname beginning W, so what would you recommend for a middle name? We already have a 4yr old son called Stanley John 💙
Maeve Flora Woolford (with your last name i just picture like a field of wild flowers and how the smell of them would be almost intoxicating and little sheep all around, so sweet). I also like Leigh which means meadow or pasture. Maeve Lilian Woolford also sounds pretty and very feminine.
I would say a two syllable middle name would have a nice ring. Like Maeve Eilane Woolford, Maeve Avery Woolford, Maeve Alice Woolford. The possibility are endless and congrats!
When my mom named me she had never met any Jynaya before (pronounced Like Gin-ae-ya). But since growing up I have met a few others with similar pronunciations but different spellings such as Jenaya or Janaya. I always have been considered unique ☺️☺️
I’m an Alessia!! I love my name, it is just hard for people to grasp its spelling :( i often end up with alyssia, or alexia, etc. But highly recommend! And it ages well!
My first name is Aja, pronounced Asia. I'm not sure if you've ever had that on a list of yours, but I do know I've heard of other Aja's besides myself.
I know somebody who named their baby Nova Lee (idk if it's styled like that or one name Novalee). She's probably around 2 or 3 now. It's also the name of a character in the book/movie Where the heart is.
My fav from this list is Novelli. Novalie or Novalee is actually quite come in Sweden. Babys born around 00-10 are called Tindra, Nova, Novalie but Novelli puts a more elegant spin to it. Fiadh is a little weird to me because Fia is a Swedish name and to add the -dh sound makes it kind of weird. I also prefer the non-Irish version of Aina. 1.Novelli 2. Aina 3. Farrah 4. Alessia 5. Maeve 6. Irisa 7. Saoirse 8. Evangeline 9. Iridessa 10. Fiadh
My sister's name is Amika which means friend or friendship in Italian. I asked my mom why they picked that as her name (we're not European or Italian) and she said because she would be my friend 😍 which is just so sweet!
When I was younger and with my first love (my ex fiance) we wanted to name our baby (if I ever got pregnant) Virtue. Do you think this would have been a terrible name for a little girl? I never had a baby with him and my daughter is named Daisy which I love, she is such a wonderful bright sunny girl and the name matches her perfectly. But I actually still have the art he drew way back in the 90's when we were teens. Little rosebuds in the shape of a heart with Virtue in pretty cursive in the middle. Virty might have been a cute nick name. I found the art a few days ago while cleaning out my house and it gave me a weird feeling, like maybe in another an alternate dimension I had a daughter named Virtue. lol
sonicleaves I love the name! It’s very unique and pure for a little baby girl. It could even have more common nicknames like Vi, or True. I feel like you could still use it if you want! I named my ex’s cat Atlas but I adore the name so much that I wouldn’t mind using it for a son with my fiancé.
Her first middle name is Amelia which her birth mom picked. Her second middle name is Hope in honor of her great grandma on one side and grandma on the other side who immigrated both named Esperanza.
Just found out I’m pregnant with baby #2 and your videos are giving me so much inspiration! My son’s name is August so I’m very drawn to vintage uncommon names. I want a great sib set name to go with August aka Auggie. For this baby we are looking at a few different names... Girl: Adelaide, Cecelia, Fiona, Olive, June Boy: Emery, Wilder, Ansel, Erastus, Solomon
Hi SJ! Wondering if you may be able to help me please :) I am 16 weeks pregnant with a baby girl. We currently have three boys and so have never had to pick a girls name - we're finding it really difficult! Our boys are called Dylan, Oliver and Freddie - any ideas? Thank you :D xx
Currently pregnant with a little Iris - tried convincing my husband to have Ioanna as a middle name (we want some version of John) but he won't have it!
Amaterasu means shining in heaven in Japanese - I have a cousin called this, and my aunt named her this as she lost a baby pre that pregnancy, and everyone calls her Ama as a nickname 💙
I love the name Antigone! Never heard of it as a name and it’s so stunning! Since that was a name of a play I was thinking to stay in that same category, I love Ophelia, Eponine, and Titania. I feel like they all have that classic feeling in their names. Another random one I love as a sister name is Calypso. It is so ethereal and regal and I think it would pair very nicely but still have its own unique feel and sound!
I think It would be so cool to see a “moods baby name list.”
My name is Cheyenne, but my close family has always called me “Chey” which sounds like “Shy.” I’ve heard a few times that “Chey is shy!” And I think there are other names that work too like Bliss or Marvel. Kind of weird, but might be a cool concept!
Super cool concept~ Reverie? Patience, Love...
I know a little girl called Shylie. Such a cute name😍
That's cute i know 2 cheyennes
I just had a little girl in the midst of this whole mess. We named her Zaidee Mae❤ We love her so much. Cheers!

I’m so happy you mentioned Evangeline in this video as I just commented on an old video about my great-grandma named EvangelinA :) my cousin and I are named Eva and Angelina because of her! I didn’t even know the meaning either which is beautiful!
Angelina Calderon my friend just named her daughter Evangeline!

Evangeline will always make me think of Princess and the Frog but I’m a good association. Such a cute movie.
Aina also means “always” in Finnish! Such a lovely name!!
Venla Ruodemäki sounds like Anus
@@rebeccat7005 I love your name, Venla is stunning! Adding it to my list of girl names
This has been my favourite list so far. I love iris/a, alessia, oriana, fiadh and maeve. Other name meanings I love includes anastasia - she will rise again, Molly - star of the sea, aurora - dawn and eleanor - shining light. Rose, starry, bloom, phoenix and blossom are lovely too
Oh I love your name choices

Noor Bauwens like Ariane (which is common in French) but with an o(:
Herta Schneider also really lovely ☺️💞

Valentina is now a top 100 name in the US!

Can you do a Baby Name Monday of alternative natives? Like my name is Roxine (Rockscene) instead of Roxane. Or, Janee’ instead of Jannie..
Thanks for the ray of happiness and positivity on this gloomy Monday xx Sending all my love❣️
Saoirse! We've been seeing it around so much! Thank you for a beautiful pronunciation. Lovely collection, as usual!
I love the name Alessia! I didn't expect to come across a new favourite at this point in my name enthusiast life. It flows so well with almost any middle name as well! Oooh, I love it!
Áine is the spelling the name Aina as you spell it in Irish. Fiadh is a super on trend name in Ireland at the moment, one of the fastest rising
Saoirse meaning freedom became popular in the 1920s in Ireland after Irish independence
Aina is also an Arabic name. It means eyes. Name with similar meanings in Arabic are Ain, Aini and Ainun. Its so common in my country that I know a few people with these names.

Just found out I’m pregnant with baby #2 and your videos are giving me so much inspiration! My son’s name is August so I’m very drawn to vintage uncommon names. I want a great sib set name to go with August aka Auggie. For this baby we are looking at a few different names...
Girl: Adelaide, Cecelia, Fiona, Olive, June
Boy: Emery, Wilder, Ansel, Erastus, Solomon
Everett, Jude, Bennett, Nash & Hiram are other boy names that would look good with August!

Maybe Flavia? Or Rosalind?
Emme Cordero her own name is Rosalyn though 😉
Rosalyn Gummer Ophelia Mae, Amelia Iris, Saraphina Louise, Bethany Aline, Andromeda Skye, Aridane Elaine
My name is Maeve and love it🥰
Maeve Wars do you have a middle name?
Aina sounds like the South African slang for when you have a pain😂
