An amazing tank and such a diverse collection of fish. His shoals of anthias are awesome. Nicks attention to detail really shows with his approach he has taken and being attentive to his tank he has been able to accomplish his end goal. A lot of people want a very nice eco system but aren’t willing to put in the work to achieve it. Imo stability is key.
Makes me happy to see how tank rock is built out in the late 90s I was doing builds like this with Tonga shelf and branch rock while everyone else was building stacked walls against the back glass .. it makes me smile every time I see it cause I was right
Great video, the guy knows his stuff, I have no clue about fish, I’m a reptile lady but through watching Paul and Gio I’m learning more thankfully and if I’m honest have found a new passion, I look forward to to learning more from u guys too, you’d know everything man who xx
This is what we like, few big fish many small fish with different colors. Gives contrast and is a "full of live" looking reef aquarium. Amazing aquarium. But it would be best if you looked to solve the material floating on the tank's surface, which can block your light. Most likely, due to the pump in the mid-right of the tank, you should consider moving it all the way to the right.
Always been a HUGE fan of large tanks with TONS of small fish. His school of Anthias was really to die for, and it was amazing to see in person! Glad I could share with you all! -Blaine
I understand where you are coming from, but I feel Nick is saying his way of reefing. Regardless if the size of the tank is large, he is trying to maintain simple practices that have shown him success in past projects. -Blaine
I need to know the name of the light blue acro at the top of the scape at 2:13. I don’t know if my eyes are deceiving me, but it looks amazing on the video. A very unique color shade.
Wow, I never would have guessed! I keep my tank pretty white too but my Oregon Tort colony is much darker blue than what that one looks like (at least on video).
WIth a school of anthias, which generally speaking have fast metabolisms. Do they require a lot more feeding? If so I wonder how does it. Autofeeder I guess?
They are for sure fish that will enjoy multiple feedings throughout the day! Taras did an awesome fish talk episode about them which you can find on our channel! Auto feeders are great tools for keeping Anthias well fed! Thanks for tuning in tonight! -Blaine
Man that is one THICK Naso 😮.. Looks amazing 🤙
THICC with two "C's" it was no doubt a unit!

"Keep it simple", says the man with the 1000 gallon tank...

Do you guys ship the tshits to uk?
💩
Whats the name of the beauty in the sand visible 24:08 to 24:15?
Saw that too! Gorgeous fish. Looks like a blue-spotted jawfish maybe?
Blue spotted jawfish! An awesome addition to tanks! Lid recommended for these!
-Blaine
Seem like some fish 🐟 like to nip the blue tang tail 😂 , I had to remove my clownfish because they were nipping at my blue tang tail
Was one of the oldest fish too so been around the block for a while! Surely happening a little though! Thanks for tuning in.
