Lets be pragmatic here. Multiculturalism played the biggest part in this. The state cannot perform the same job as a local, healthy, integrated community when it comes to identifying and dealing with any potential threats. Multiculturalism causes divides in trust, its tribal.

I personally know of a native British lad who is now in “secure” accommodation for sending social media posts railing against mass immigration and the islamification of England. That’s all. And yet this black immigrant is treated with kid gloves every time he demonstrated his real life danger. The system is working as intended. There are no errors here.

What about Hungerford and Dunblane? Mass shootings that resulted in gun ownership being almost completely removed from the uk public?
      Raul moat?
      Derek bird?
There is no causation with mass migration. There is correlation with rising inequality, hollowed out policing and unfettered drug supply however.
It’s weird when you vote for successive governments that largely decimate the police service from 2008 onward, crime suddenly starts becoming a real thing doesn’t it?
I don’t think people realised how much preventative work the police, probation, prisons and social services did before austerity hamstrung their ability to proactively manage risk.
Criticism should be most strongly reserved for politicians who propped up the banks with our money rather than funding our public services. Brown, Cameron, Osborn are particularly culpable

there's also the aspect of accepting/planning for the violence in your own community and the anger at having violence thrusted upon you from the outside. There will always be violence, but the current level - and nature of it - was entirely preventable. I appreciate Slater avoiding muling for the real "far right", but it's still true.

Bad weather is the only reason that the total number of illegal immigrants has not reached 200,000 crossing the channel.
Axel's parents were allowed in legally. So the debate about mass immigration has to be led by serious access to data on criminality and dependency on state benefits and social housing by migrants and immigrants.
Then people can decide in the voting booths....... That's if we can have a say in our democracy.

There are quite a few witness accounts saying Rudakabana has actually been practising Islam whilst in custody. Whilst I can't confirm he was, obviously, and he does not come from an Islamic family, it's also not beyond the realms of possibility that he was radicalised and converted either. It's not a lie or conspiracy to consider it.

As I said quite clearly before you attempt to twist my narrative, I obviously cannot confirm there's any truth to this, but considering the evidence we do know to be verified as true and that what happened bears similarities to other Islamic extremist attacks that have happened, it isn't outside the realms of possibility either. Any investigation worth it's salt must surely cover all possibilities and not shy away from certain things for fear of offending certain people.

And frankly, they still don’t care, except for the bother this has all caused. Tom Slater, at around 10 mins, sounds to me like a watered-down version of Keir Starmer, with his statements to the effect that, ''Axel Rudakubana is nothing to do with Islam, this has nothing to do with mass immigration''. Or his, frankly, crass remark about mass killings having taken place before without reference to immigration or Islam. The point about mass killings is that they are rare. But this century the number has rocketed, as has mass immigration from Muslim dominated countries and from Africa. Correlation may not imply causation but, this case, I think there's a link.

I disagree , for once, with some of your comments regarding the Southport murders. I think that it was obvious to most people when it happened that this was most probably the act by an Islamic extremist. & I don't think that has actually been ruled out by the authorities as the motive.
It is not a new threat but one that has increased dramically over the past few years.
There was a stabbing of young children only this week in Germany. The Manchester Arena bombing also targetted young girls in particular. A Taylor Swift concert(again attended by many young children) in Austria had to be cancelled because of the threat of an Islamic attack. There have been numberous attacks on schoolchildren in Parkistan & in parts of Africa. In the 2010s 250 attacks were recorded. This may be due to the rise in ISIS & because these types of attack make the most impact .
Of course the violent protests that occurred in Southport were completely out of order but taking people for fools , by trying to play everything down ,certainly did not help the situation

The problem with discussing this horrific, complex issue, even on decent places like Spiked, is these 'balanced' discussions just do not go far enough. Multiculturalism at all costs is literally destroying our country - and almost all mainstream politicians, media, institutions and commentators REFUSE to address the profound gravity of the problem THEY have imported. The maze of silence, apathy and refusal to deal with the genuine facts means this will just get worse and worse - and worse still, no one is ever held to true account for this dire situation.

How could releasing information that was incontrovertibly true and would be in the trial impact the trial. His defence offered no case for mitigation for goodness sake. If we have a system that is so fragile that there is a chance that a man so obviously guilty could get away with it because his photo had been published or that he had been expelled from school for attacking pupils, then we really do have a problem. Lawyers have so corrupted our legal system so that it 8s not fit for purpose or it is just that the powers didn't want their failure to be published. The media lack of focus on his obsession with white genocide is interesting.
He was a racist who had a pathological hatred of whites.
When James Lindsay stated that “Woke” or post colonial theory and critical race theory in particular, had a seed of genocide residing within in it, certainly makes me think.
All of the various “crimes” against blacks at the hands of whites were found on his computer. How slaves were treated and “the crimes of the European Empires” in Africa.
He was obsessed, is it plausible his hatred and resentment was fulled by the anti white, anti British climate woke has created?
I believe these various doctrines are revolutionary politics masquerading as social justice.
I think they are designed to sow the seeds of resentment.
And there is no doubt that Axel resented whites.
It’s like we created our own Julius Malema but unlike Malema (for the moment) acted on his thinking.

He is the product of sitting in his room watching disturbing images of violent murders every hour day month year. He thought that it was normal to be watching that in the classroom, he also thought it was normal to carry a knife to school and threaten to stab another child because he didn't like him. There was a video of him being restrained in the classroom by a teacher and another pupil that has been removed on TickTock. His behaviour became so deranged that his parents called the police 4 times to their home. So they probably felt threatened or had knowledge that their son wanted to harm children.
