It looks like the rust is in the same spot as mine, a stress fracture that allowed water to run along the top windscreen edge & rusted out. Looks clean under those draws
Great vid as always mate, maybe do a vid on how the old 2H motor performs 0-100 and up the hills I rekon people would love to see the performance of this car.
Hi Marcus interesting you're not starting on the mechanics as I thought you wanted to Bruch up in that department, I'd probably of started with a oil change and then start to replace all the rubber hoses and electrical wiring 🤷🏼♂, but you're taking me back on my Troopy adventures thx
G'day Marcus, I just stumbled across this video. Fellow 75 series troopy owner here, although mine is a turboed 1hz. You'll probably find, if you haven't already, that since the A pillars are rusty at the top and near the door hinge, the majority of water coming into the cab is most likely via the ends of the lower panel in the heater plenum. The top of the plenum needs to be unpicked/ cut off to effect a proper repair. Mine is like that too but not as bad so I'm still putting it off😂. How is the rest of the roof/ gutters for rust? Cheers, Rob.
Hi Rob. Yes spot on. The rest of the roof is in good condition. Looking to find the time this year to start working on her. Good luck with yours too. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment. Cheers.
Looking forward to the next Troopy episode 👀

Hi mate. Did you get yours fixed? I was wondering what caused this on both sides of the windscreen. It’s something I will need to do.

She’s a slow old girl. Doesn’t belong in the city that’s for sure. Sounds like a good idea. Cheers. Thanks for watching and leaving a comment.

She’s going to be a slow process unfortunately. But still have plans. Cheers. Thanks for watching.
Love the build! And what camera do you use? Something about the video quality/style draws me in
Hi mate. I used my Sony I think on this video. It’s a mirror less camera. Thanks for watching. Cheers.
Have you still got this 75? Done anything with it?
Hi mate. I do. Haven’t had the time. But drive it every week.
