I subscribed and i won my Alhaitham 50/50!! You should too!
I lost mine 50/50 79pull tighnari
@@rednave4489 did you hit the bell icon? sometimes that helps
I lost my 50/50 ... but got Alhaitham my very next pull! I've neve had back-to-back 5 stars before! I hope you have loads of fun with him.
@@songsayswhat OH WOAH that’s awesome! It would’ve been epic if you got two 5 stars in 1 pull but I hope you cherish him!!

Tbh, him being difficult in personality and gameplay is on brand for him. He's a smart character and he only wants smart people playing as him *cries in chiseled light cool down*
Maybe it's due to the fact that I have seen leaks that his gameplay just seems intuitive to me but it does... However, just lost the 50/50, but at least it was Tighnari and not Keqing...
🤣🤣🤣 dude you play genshin, what 'smart' you talking about? Smh this clown
copium
DAMN TRUE LMAO, smart character for smart player not for the brain dead auto pilot player LOL.
the crazy thing about video game is YOU NEED HARD VIDEO GAME SO IN THE SAME TIME, U TRAINING UR BRAIN and that is something u need everyday or u become DUMB SLOW THINKER person and that happen to me in the PAST, specially if u are playing Video game most of the time.
Me: an idiot trying to play him.
As a long time Tartaglia main, the reaction to his kit's complexities and limitations reminds me a lot of Tartaglia's initial reception.
That’s a good point. Sometimes you just don’t want to think about managing this stuff
I still to this day think that's the reason why people don't play Childe as much;
He's extremely strong but if you mess up it just feels bad.
with childe you just have to manage his time on field to manage his cd... with alhaitham on the other hand you have to manage his three mirrors with ult, his passive and his ele skill..
as a Childe main ever since it’s true but for us Childe mains, complexity now is like a muscle memory that fulfills excitement while playing especially in Abyss. Like high effort high reward
@@iamkaedahara Yeah, But Childe still sucks, I think dendro Keqing will be much easier to play with.
That feel when you lost the 50/50 for Nahida, and now all the new teams include her
OOF.
Ahhh 😢
Sounds painful
We're on the same boat lol
Nahida and Ei are just too good of a unit, both got high value for acc and worth their title as an archons. Hydro archon gonna be insane I tell you, better make sure you're on guarantee pity when she arrive.
I love how this ties to his trailer. He just have to fight in the most efficient and ideal way to win.
Yeah..he really make us to think first before we act..
so true
Yeah exactly
Just be optimal lol.

alhaitham literally put out his demo title ‘think before you act’ quite literally. You have to think of all the rotation and possibility to make the best use of him, unlike most character usage where you can just unga bunga everything. But when you do, i can see his dmg potential. He’s alot like childe, and not alot of people play childe so i wonder how people will receive him👀👀
He can get 700k damage completely f2p every 18 seconds so pretty busted if you learn how to play the guy
As a Childe main the moment I saw his kit I was like, I gotta go for him. He has a complex mechanic like Childe and despite being no brained, I’m drained to characters with difficult mechanics LMAO. So now Haitham is my second main
@@ZeroDim childe or haitham?
i assume he could be used as part of a national team that works off of burgeon
xingqui and him for bloom, xiangling for the burgeon, and bennett for th3 buff
@@juice328718 secs is his cool-down, so its haitham
Managing skill cooldowns and playing around them gets easier with time especially if you have played childe but for me, keeping check on his mirrors will be very hard because of all the action going on and the mirrors are very small to look and focus at. Maybe if they add an indicator on top of the health bar showing the mirror counts we have currently, that would make him much easier and reliable to use.
best way to keep mirror is by counting how much it already proc
So u mean that mean that 3 chisel mirror attack arrives( the one where the mirrors shower on the enemies) we do a charge attack right? Or if we have his e, use that.
@@mythical9163mirrors last for 4 seconds each and each coordinated attack comes around once every 2 seconds, once you see the second Sword Rain attack, skill or CA, then N3D until you’ve seen 2 more Sword Rains, then use the skill or CA, whichever you didn’t use the first time around, wait for 2 more Sword Rains and swap off, hopefully in this time he’s gotten enough energy for his burst to fill up so you can then restart the rotation
For me I look at how many times the rain sword atk procs. I first do his burst then keep attacking until the rain sounds were proc 2 times, then do his e, proc the rain sword 2 times, then do a charged atk and proc the rain sword 2 more times
*Pull off 6 consecutive instances of rain blades with him. You don’t need to count seconds. Just look for visual clues. Here’s how to maintain 3 mirrors:*
1. Cast Burst (Q) with zero mirrors. He’ll get a refund of 3 mirrors.
2. Do normal attacks (don’t do charged attacks at this point), and procc 2 instances of rain blades.
3. When you see the 2nd instance of rain blades, cast his Skill (E) to maintain 3 mirrors.
4. Do normal attacks again (still no charged attacks) and procc 2 more instances of rain blades.
5. When you see the 2nd instance of rain blades, now you can do a charged attack to maintain 3 mirrors.
6. Do normal attacks to procc another 2 instances of rain blades. That’s a total of 6 consecutive rain blades.
7. And then you can just spam his infused attacks until his mirrors run out.
It takes practice and familiarity to do this. So be patient. But once you nail this, the satisfaction is so awesome!! 🤘

D:
it’s only been half an hour it’s fine but i was wondering why you didn’t upload cuz usually i get your notification the moment a new patch drops lol
can't wait!
Sure take it slowly and steadily!!
I cannot believe you also need to use your brain to use him properly too.
Those 3 mirror raining down dendro hell are illegally cool. Probably one of the most satisfying animations, comparable to childe's riptide
The things about long skill cooldown, i hope Hoyo will improve the UI to include some indication for players to know during off-field when skill can be use again . We currently only have the burst indicator. They also could add buff/element timer on top of buff/element indicators, to ease player for application and character rotation
This, it's amazing to me it's not in and people don't complain about this more, it makes some characters feel awful if you're muscle memory is used to certain skill timings and then you have a charcter you swap to that's just dead in the water for a few seconds.
Nah. Knowing timings for your skills is another form of skill expression.
You can either count seconds till cooldown is up manually each time, or, like majority of players do, experiment a couple of times and get the general feel of the teams' optimal rotation.
What we actually need are timers for buffs and secondary bar for shields when they are active.
@@vukkicos5688 based take
its not too difficult to figure out character’s uptimes after building, maining, researching, finalising and testing with them for a while, especially with a dps character, pulling a dps is a commitment of sorts, since you’re gonna have to build them for quite a while anyway and subsequently get used to the way they play
yes, i would like a small symbol near the character that tells me if their Skill is ready.
@@vukkicos5688 the only content that requires you to have a somewhat tight rotation has a clock in the middle of the screen. So even if you dont have the muscle memory or feel for certain characters cd is not thay hard to keep track of it.

Thanks for the info Brax. I hope people who get him enjoy and can work towards playing him optimally. Personally I’m eagerly awaiting Dehya and Baizhu info.
Thanks for the useful and honest review. The explanation as well as showcase of his issues is great to understand and useful to decide whether one is up to the task of mastering Alhaithams playstyle!
A very good guide 😀 He seems to be the type of character where if you like him then you can safely pull him but he's not a must pull by any means
Almost every char release ever, except some.
Only Kazuha is a must pull in this game
@@Jevjevjevj dont have him still 36* abyss
i say must pull is wanderer...his exploration advantage is stupid if not take advantage of it.
@@Jevjevjevj L opinion
I don't think anyone is really a must pull in genshin. Some characters like Nahida or Yelan are very very strong pulls, but I don't think anyone is really a 'must' pull.
I'm using him with Raiden, Nahida and Kokomi ATM and I like him a lot, fun to play without feeling boring after a while like some DPS like Ayato can feel IMO. trying to upkeep your mirrors and burst and switch at the right times is making him so fun for me because it's not hard really, but it feels rewarding to do right and punishing to do wrong but not so much that it's frustrating if that makes sense. Like once you get how his kit works it's very fun and his animations look great.
I also plan to have an Alhaitham, Nahida, Raiden, and Kokomi team, so that's good to hear! I'm just missing Nahida 😅
I'm not that upset about it tho, since I'm a somewhat casual player and am still working on building my mono-Geo team with Itto, Gorou, Albedo, and Zhongli.
It's funny bc I think it's going to feel very different playing these two teams (Itto's is so straightforward and no thinking needed tbh), but it'll keep things refreshing and fun like you said!
@@bunnymoonbloom same only missing nahida
@@bunnymoonbloom He actually feels surprisingly flexible, Nahida happens to be kind of perfect for him but YaoYao or Traveler should still be good since it's mainly for energy. I've been having fun trying a bunch of team comps, I would kill to have Kuki right now lol.
Yeah, it's a different vibe, that would be fun for spiral abyss, each side feeling very different.
@@mismismism That is something I noticed about him in all of the videos I've watched! It's cool to see what comps people come up with. I do plan to build Yaoyao eventually, since I kind of love all the Dendro characters so far
I started off as a Childe main, and he's been fun to use for a longer period of time than other DPS I have (like Xiao and Itto). He really eased me into bow characters and complex gameplay styles-- something many people tend to struggle with. It's like you said, now it gets boring for me to use a character who's gameplay is too straightforward, so I'm excited to build Alhaitham :)
I'm using zhongli, raiden, xingqiu and it works pretty well with him
Just used him in the trial and although Ive been saving for Yelan, I cant help but wanna pull for him
I’m going for Yelan first. It’s going to take awhile for us to see how high his skill ceiling is. He’ll also have a higher chance at a rerun since he’s a new unit. Yelan will get pushed to the back for much longer so the best time to grab her is now.
I'll do it next time... I'm gonna go and wait for Kazuha.
Alhaitham is very awesome, indeed.
I just pulled for him....yea he's a Chad I love him he feels fast and smooth
Go for him! He's insane
I felt the opposite, wanted to pull for him but after trying him out I'm just gonna save for Yelan 😅 His rotation will most likely annoy me over time, I don't want to make the same mistake I made with Cyno
Thank you very much Brax! I was having a hard time understanding his playstyle but this video helped me a lot!!
Hey thanks again... I always watch your channel videos because for me it has always felt like an honest opinion on the upcoming characters or the best build I would need...so yeah whatever you feel about the character please tell them without any hesitation..To pul a character or not it's always our decision
The cooldowns are a pain in the butt but so far I’ve been having a lot of fun playing him. I knew he was going to be fun but I’m surprised at JUST how fun he is to play. Good luck Alhaitham wanters! And good luck with the cooldowns lol

super useful, this makes me think twice about pulling for him.
with a little time in his trial, i found it very easy to maintain his 3 mirror uptime by starting with his ult.
1. ult to gain 3 mirrors, normal attack for 2 instances of his 3 mirror projections
2. plunge attack his skill to regain a mirror, normal attack for the lvl 3 projections
3. charge attack, normal attack/lvl 3 projections,
this pretty much gives you 12 seconds of lvl 3 projections (6 instances) and by the time you run out of the dendro infusion and exhaust the mirrors, his ult should be back again.
Or you can use the downtime from level 3 projections to do a rotation while he passively loses his mirrors.
Elite tips! I'm having some juicy on field time with him thanks to your instructions, appreciate it bro! That boi Alhaitham is strong and fun as hell
Wait, so the plunge and charged attacks have separate instances for regaining a mirror for his passive? I thought it was just one or the other, CA or plunge
Saving this for future purposes

note: dont take trial particle generation into actual combat, cause it need hella ton of ER to replicate it
"His skill ceiling is high for you to take full advantage of him"
True, sir, even his TC was pain in the neck. And even Haitham admits it himself in his demo video, "think before you act". lmao Calling us out fr. And so with that, plus him applying just a ton of dendro, really makes him like dendro Childe in my eyes instead of a dendro Keqing. Thank you for this guide, as always!
TC?
sorry, TC meant theorycrafting -- when you do the math to find the character's optimum combo and team. it was mostly confusing during his v0 (ie first beta release) because the burst and his E both have ridiculous values, so it wasn't immediately clear whether to prioritize E/Q. it becomes much clearer though later on and with subsequent updates
question i’ve always been interested in trying to work out this stuff for myself, not for any particular reason it just seems cool, what do you do within TC? like what formulas do you calculate and what do you use to determine how good a character is? :)
I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that thought of him as Dendro Childe instead of Dendro Keqing.
@@juice3287 hi, there are a lot of things you do in TC depending on how deep you wanna dive into. most basic one is just calcing the dmg of one char given set buffs and std assumptions. or calcing/identifying what weapon or artifact set is better. next is incorporating rotations, which will really make you think how your team will work. this can give you an idea how many hits X char does and with dmg formula + considering reactions, X char's dmg contrib. effectively, you get team dps.
KQM website has the formula you can follow. search "keqingmains damage formula". pre-release, you mostly always have to use assumptions.. unless you have someone who can verify things like ICD for you. different discord mains usually have access to this. most important is you should always keep track and state your assumptions, so others can easily verify/correct.
how to know if a char is good? for me, there's no one correct answer, but most would probably say dmg. generally, as long as the char doesn't feel clunky, and his/her kit isn't all over the place, I think it's good. on a more personal basis, I don't really like it though if X char is giving me a vibe like I should pull for a future char just to make X char feel good. but again, that's really more of a preference
Thanks for the tips. That will make playing much easier if I get him.
Also, I like this new kind of informal videos. I hope you’ll do some more.
so well summarized! great video, super helpful thanks man
You explained the skills so much less complicated-y sounding than every other guide video I've found so far, thank you
Thank you Brax for this video! Your voice and manner of speech bring me inner peace

Amazing info, thanks!
Good evening, Brax. Make sure you go to bed at a good time. Thanks for all the guides and Entertainment
I got Alhaitham tonight and was just messing around. I accidentally was playing him as you suggested (without Nihida tho) and found he is a lot of fun and pretty good!
Ty for making this, it was helpful.
tbh right now you pretty much need nahida on all dendro teams
shes turning out to be one of those units that i call the baseline for the element
like if you dont have her every team that requires her element is just mid
like XQ on every team that uses vape
you could vape with other hydro unit but it will never be as good as XQ
making him the baseline of hydro element on vape teams
Obligatory childe comment
Why you commenting this on Al Haitham review
i took a break from genshin when it was her banner 😭 i could have gotten her since i lost my 50/50 to qiqi ages ago
update: i won my 50/50 and got her!
@@Kevin-um1nq because brax said he would work better with nahida and as of right now any dendro needing team with nahida is just better
you can partner him up with another dendro thats not nahida and it will work sure but it will never be as good as with nahida
im just saying that nahida is slowly becoming the dendro smogon bird (people who plays pokemon showdown you will get this)
having such a strong grasp at a role that most off field dendro unit will always be going up against her
the same as XQ back then most off field hydro unit needs to go through the XQ screening
If you have Nahida, do you really need him?
Thanks for the guide! This guide really confirms what I've been thinking ever since I saw his kit from certain sources. For someone who doesn't like to think about reactions/rotations too much when playing like me, he would be incredibly punishing to play so I decided not to roll for him. Too bad because he's hot lol. His initial animations make him kinda look like Dendro Keqing, but they couldn't be more different in practice. Keqing with her no nonsense infusion and low cost low cooldown burst is more suited for me than him.
Thanks! You convinced me to try for him!
i loved this review. thank you so much
A little late, but I'm super glad for this video!
I've been thinking who to save up for. I'm F2P so I have to be a bit smart with who I decide to spend my wishes on, so I started to research every character that interested me.
Alhatiham was my no1, I started the game during the last week of his banner and couldn't get him in time. I was very sad because I really wanted to get him. He just felt like the right character for me - I loved his design, his animations, and he felt easy and fun to use. Well... Turns out he isn't easy to use at all, I was just so new to the game I didn't realize I was playing him wrong.
I think he's a very cool character, and I'll 100% enjoy watching other people playing him the way he should be played. But he isn't for me. I play genshin casually just to have some fun and relax, having to pay so much attention to my rotation, mirrors, and optimizing to this degree is just not what I'm looking for.
I'm really glad you made this detailed and honest review of his kit. He and I just really don't match and I would've found ot the hard way otherwise. I now feel a lot better that I couldn't get him last time, it was probably for the better. At least now I have a little pity built, too. :) So, thanks!
If he has such long cooldowns, i guess that opens up more room to run Yae Miko in the team, as then her own long feild time is less of a downside.
I would love if the mirrors have another indicatoer like a number on Alheitham's body, just like the defence artifacts. It's hard to see the mirror when in an actual combat with 4 members shenanigans
I'm so conflicted seeing his awesome gameplay and team comps (most of which I have built already) but I don't want to have to go through the trouble of farming mats and talent books right after Wanderer. Hopefully his rerun will come soon and I'll have everything ready for him then! (If no other Fontaine characters catch my eyes first--)
Very well explained. Thank you!
Thanks for sharing this review Brax, hopefully Rin won't owe you dinner :P
More seriously, I appreciate your summarizing the nuances of this dork's kit. Hope you're doing alright with everything going on.
Thank you sir for making me snap out of it on pulling every banner. I’ll just pull on Yelan’s… maybe… Idk.. but Dehya is around the corner tho ughhh 😵💫

Yeahh…not really lol
@@chrisryan1501 cope
Thanks for clear explanations. I think I will save my fates and get Ayaka.
i like characters like alth and childe where you actually have to be mindful of what your doing
His gameplay is so similar to Childe's that often times I would unconsciously press skill even though it's still on cooldown and that I still have mirrors on me.
Aside from just getting punished when you mess up, some teams can also be punished more by how the enemies decide to screw over our rotations. I think I'll wait to see how Alhaitham and his teams pan out, I've definitely been preferring teams that have more adaptive rotations overal, no stationary circle-impact every 15s etc.
very well said sir!
I honestly had some rotation problems with him before but now that I got it well, I am doing way better. Al haitham is right now at lvl 70 (cuz the sumeru specialty) 6-6-6 talent and I completed the abyss floor 12 chamber 1 first half with him( +nahida+fischl+kuki) in 38 secs😁.
So i have a trick for timing his mirror refresh if you’re using his standard “long uptime” combo where you open with his q and use his e and charged attacks to keep 3 mirrors
Use q (and while you’re waiting for the 3 mirrors to spawn, you can either swap off or just start normal attacking)
immediately after the second projection attack, press e
After you press e, wait for 1 projection attack, then auto once or twice, then charged attack. Ideally while your charged attack is in its windup animation, the 2nd projection attack will happen and the mirror will expire, but the charged attack will immediately refresh it.
Basically, the idea is that each mirror can unleash about 2 projection attacks during the time it’s up.
LOL turns out he's not a Keqing clone but actually a Childe clone.
I'm getting him in patch 3.7 along with light of foliar incision. As a xiao main turned itto main turned wanderer main who just unga bunga'd her way to 12-3 of the abyss, I might have a hard time using Alhaitham. I'm super excited to learn more about his mechanics though.
He’s easy to use 😝 you’ll see..
As someone who started playing at the start of alhaitham kazuha banners ive found fav sword to be a life saver on alhaitham when playing solo dendro on ur teams, he loses out on dmg but he is pretty much guaranteed to have his burst back before cooldown which makes up for the dmg especially for quickbloom teams where he is the sole dendro onfield driver
I knew it was meant to be! Hit it early at 50 pity AND won 50/50. Alhaitham came home! I love his gameplay not being so brainless and easy (how fitting). Makes him that much more fun.
Being a Childe main prepared me for cooldown management haha
im glad i got him, with diluc and 17 yaoyao cons i will not say how much i pulled my wallet but his pull had me most on edge so far
For now I only played the trial but I am already sold, smooth gameplay like Keqing
Mihoyo punishes everyone for not having Nahida. First Cyno, then Nilou, now Haitham. It's more important to to just get Nahida before any other Sumeru character
That's why I'm saving my guaranteed pity for her. I'm willing to wait for many months just so I can finally get Nahida
@@michaeldohndelara2240 And then there's me who doesn't want her and doesn't like her design. Mihoyo is FORCING me to get her if I wanna play any Sumeru character. Screw it, I'll just wait for Fontaine then
I'm not really interested in Nahida but I'll roll her for my Cyno. Can't say I'm happy about that LMAO
@@thunguyenthi1948 Same. Mihoyo is forcing her for Cyno mains, Nilou mains and now Haitham mains. If you don't have Nahida, you gotta suffer
@@loola8908 same
So basically him, Xingqui, and Shogun/Kuki to keep him on field and constantly applying mirror damage and cores? Or maybe a spread team with double electros and Nahida for her tri-karma and ult up to amplify everything he's doing and doing crits... could be a fun character. I don't mind some harder to play characters. Right now my quicken+spread team is like that but with Tighnari as main. The charge shots make it more fun. But Alhaitham has a nice play style to keep uptime and experiment with that.
*edit: lol you mentioned that exact same hyperbloom team at the end of the video.
you basically nailed the team composition and playstyles for Alhaitham. One thing to note is that you can also do quickswap burst Alhaitham if you have Nahida. Alhaitham do the quickswap combo (Alhaitham E Plunge/CA -> Burst) then Nahida NA into quickswap another character, this rotation can be relevant in quicken kazuha team where you want to quickswap into kazuha in a short interval or for frontloading (speedrun, short window-of-time to attack enemies, etc)
@@jehezz Been having fun with him with Nahida, Xingqiu, and Kuki today. Alhaitham only 80 with not the most perfect artifacts but they're destroying everything. The quickswap with Kazuha sounds fun too. Was looking for a way to include him into some of the comps.
@@krozareq i have also been trying him in many different team. His quickbloom feels very overpowered (nahida, raiden, xingqiu) that i manage to 9 star floor 12 with lvl 60 alhaitham so i ended up trying him in a quicken team which to my surprise also performed very well (i guess the fact i have his BiS also helped). Some quicken team i've been trying is nahida, fischl, beidou and nahida, lisa, zhongli (i like interruption resistance when doing alhaitham combo)
my only dissapointment with alhaitham is just those chisels doesnt provide any damage reduction or interruption resistance.. but either way he is learnable character and i'm definitely gonna try to master him..
Alhaitham said "think before you act" and meant it. His kit is very powerful but you have to use it correctly at the right time.
i just got alhaitam today while trying to get yaoyao- i wanted yelan but since i got him i thought i might as well check if he could be of any use and turns out he may just be one of my best characters- hes lvl 41 i use him with lvl 80 barbara lvl 61 xingqiu and lvl 90 raiden (only skill mostly dont use her burst unless if i want thier bursts and thier skills are not ready) and it works perfectly!
If you have all three mirrors and you use his burst. If you swap off from him then swap back in does he gain 3 more mirrors since he looses his mirrors when he swap or does he just not get any back anyways?
I dont have Nahida unfortunately.. I'd say Yaoyao works pretty well as his dendro support especially if she's c2 or above.
i enjoyed this video a lot more than your usual scripted format. definitely want to see more videos like this.
Tl;dr: please help explain what rotation would be best with Alhaitham, xingqiu, Nahida, and kuki.
I’m kinda struggling with rotations, where’s it’s a completely new team for me. I’m currently running alhaitham, xingqiu, Nahida, and kuki and I have no idea really on how to go about doing it so that everyone has their burst towards the end or at least almost full. For preference, I mained Xiao first, then yoimiya, and then Ayato. So, I didn’t necessarily have to think or consider rotations all that much. ;-; my energy recharge is pretty average in each character as well (( the alhaitham team ))
Edit: would running raiden instead of xingqiu be better all around for energy and off field? Considering I don’t have yae?
If I get him I'm running him with Keqing to give my enemies whiplash trying to track them
Hi, can i ask for some advice?
I have C0 Hu Tao (50k - 70k per tick) team up w/ C0 Yelan, C5 Xinqiu and C6 Bennet/Zhongli. Should i pull for C0 Al Haitham or C1 Hu Tao? I do have Jade Cutter and C3 Kuki and no Nahida.
After watching this video playing him is so much easier. Going Ult> NA till you lose a mirror> Skill to gain Mirror > Lose Mirror > charge attack to gain mirror and just attack till you run out. Plenty infusion time and good damage potential. He’s really fun especially with the coordinated mirror damage. I feel like this will be one of those characters that gets crapped on and later find out he was a good pull
Take a shot each time Brax says mirror
I was trying to get yunjin Constellation and also yaoyao and I accidentally got him but well i just don't regret getting him since he does amazing damage and also I love seeing those big green numbers.
How is that relevant to the video?
I like technical playstyle characters. I have Childe and enjoy using him. Sorry Al-Haitham I might get you on your next rerun, but considering when Fontaine characters release by that time, I don't know man. Currently saving for C1 Hu Tao.
Honestly I thought of saving for my own garunteed Hu tao C1 but I decided it was nice to have a dendro dps considering Hu Tao is my only fully built DPS and I think I can put up with stamina issues a little longer
No but like my Hu Tao team is my only fully functioning one, I only really have Eula too and even than I got lazy with building her own team
I regret not pulling for cookie, i didn't want to lose the 50/50 on Itto's rerun because i already had him
A unit that require experience player is always a welcome one well as long you have the right unit to support him.
Alhaitham's personal damage is stupidly high, and pairing him with other supports makes him amazing.
I was playing co-op with my friend who has Nilou, and we decided to run a domain with me having Al and DMC and him having Nilou and Kokomo. The fight lasted around 15 seconds.
what about raiden as a teammate feels like she would solve energy problems plus she has good electro aplication or is there a problem with that?
3:46 You can thank the beta testers for that btw. Apparently all the male characters get tons of unnecessary nerfs because the CBT players are all waifu hungry otakus that hate male characters so they spam negative feedback about them. This caused Al-Haitham to lose something like 200-300% of his scalings on his skills and abilities, in addition to the cooldown nerf. This happened with Cyno too btw. So if you ever wondered why male characters seem to come out super underpowered, now you know why.
Best outro song on UA-cam
Sounds to me like I actually have to play the game now
Sounds like I'm pretty screwed with his team options. I don't have or haven't leveled anybody you mentioned. Can I slap Raiden and Dendro MC into his team?
Fishel or kuki would be a better choice since to use eith alhaitham
What he needs right now is electro xingqui fishcl will just ate all the reactions
I wasn't able to get him lost to C2 Jean lol. I'm happy I got YaoYao since I'm guaranteed I'm happy to get Yelan
he litteraly goes "oh you wanna use me? then you have to THINK"
I hit the like on your last vid and got alhaitham 4 pulls with primos the event your my rabbits foot
My trick to play alheytham is hit charged attack to gain 1 mirror then use burst so u hit 6 times then u get 3 mirrors then use normal attack after your 3 mirrors are gone use his skill to gain 2 mirrors after doing that do a charged attack to get 3 mirrors 😊😊
It'll suck when you mess up, but it will feel so good to play when you get it down (my experience as a tartag main).
What's hard about childe in terms of his playstyle? Genuine question no offense. Asking because i do use childe but maybe not in his international team because i haven't build xiangling yet but i instead use elctro charged team( the fireworks team)
@@mythical9163 its managing every aspect of the team, in this case I will explain international. You probably already understand his cooldown management in which you count either in your head or based on the cooldown of his ult after you use it. Funneling particles during downtime from Bennett to Xiangling, knowing how to double swirl with Kazuha or Sucrose, elemental gauge theory (units of an element) or so on.
In the majority of team comps there are strict rotations you can follow and are advised, but when you play international you have to be flexible at what's presented. Whether that be breaking a strict rotation to save Xiangling's burst for the next set of mobs, or attacking a little bit longer to finish the chamber with childe's melee stance because it has such a flexible cooldown.
In the end it all goes down to muscle memory and eventually learning the ins and outs of your entire team that makes it more appealing (to me) to play rather than a straight-forward hyper-carry team.
With Alhaitham it seems that you should keep 3 mirrors at all times after 4s e/ca, then repeat with e/ca after 4s to maintain uptime for 3 mirrors. In the same vein of flexibility you may not want to spend the full duration for 3 mirrors depending on what you need to do, and in the same way that childe teams appeal to me, I can see myself engrossing a lot of time into learning how to play Alhaitham.
edit: spelling
Thanks alot for explaining. So in short i basically have to figure out how to maximize his usage. It will take a few tries but i believe i will get used to it eventually. I was kinda sad that his kit is kinda complicated. I really wanted a new dps who wasn't a hydro, electro or pyro( since i already have them). When i found out about his complicated kit, i was sad that i wasted ma primos. But now since its all about getting that muscle memory i am more than ready to use him. Once again thanks alot
@@mythical9163 No problem, and have fun! I've been using the same team (international) for two years and yea it basically come down to muscle and turning my brain off. So far it seems that our feeble scribe has a good amount of teams and seems pretty strong at where he stands. As long as you have fun and feel satisfied that's all the really matters :)
Spread or Hyperbloom Alhaitham?
I’m deciding between Kuki, Yelan, Fischl and YaoYao for his supports
Good review of the new game. Alhaitham - C0 I will try to play . Thank you.
I’m causal player but got Alhaitham at 18pity thanks for this I had no idea how to use him 0-0
Take a sip of water everytime brax says "run with another dendro character"
He seems to work different in terms of synergy with Raiden's E.
If he has energy and uptime problems does raiden work with him?
I hope you or someone that knows can answer this. I just want to know if Raiden is good with Al-haitham. Like in terms of Dmg Yae is better than Fischl so I just want to know where Raiden sits between those two. Are there any problems with her? Like for Fischl the reason why Yae is better than her is that in Al-haitham's team she's doesn't always activate her a4 passive since spread appears more rather than aggravate. So, I want to know if there is any problems like that with the Raiden Shogun.
these cooldowns tho, thanks to such banners we can easily save primos for something that's worth pulling
Early finally!
