- Noticed the Fan was rattling and wobbling on the son in-laws 03 GMC Envoy after I changed the Alternator (See Vlog). But the Water Pump was not leaking. Found to be the water pump.

Its a shame the negative responses can be so mean. But they do help with trial and error validations. So in am one to show you appreciation for any info that does help me get the repair done. Waiting for part two of 2003 Envoy water pump link if you have it to share. Thanks

Dana- must share my tip to remove the fan clutch. Hold the pump pulley from turning. Hold blunt pointed tool in your air impact gun on the edge of one of the flats on the fan clutch nut and pull the trigger. (Counterclockwise rotation) a couple try's will break it loose and then you can turn it off the rest of the way. Works for me every time.

Hi Da! Thanks for friending. That is a pain of a truck . after all that. had a transmission issue. so it got junked.
The one thing I don't agree on is using any coolant or antifreeze that's not recommended. These auto manufacturers spend millions of dollars to develop these vehicles not saying their right all the time but in this situation the recommended coolant is for hoses engine block and the seals. Also the plastic overflow canister plastic plus the thickness off the liquid. What's a few more dollars in this situation?

Thanks for subscribing! Sorry I couldn't Tell you Exactly in the video ! But it was a pain. Also the fan wiring I found was missing. Then before I could Repair it the Transmission went so He Scrapped it .
