Any chance your gonna do the 2.0mm version from the ridge wallet, but make it a standard credit card size? only ask cause if your using MagSafe wallets a 3mm card is usually gonna be super thick. the 2.0mm version would be a more reasonable size to fit in thin MagSafe wallets
Hi! Actually the “2mm ridge wallet module” isn’t really 2mm, but it ADDS 2mm to the regular ridge wallet. The actual device itself is actually thicker than the regular slim AirTag we sell, so your best option would be to get the 3mm slim AirTag card. I hope this explains things a bit. Sorry for the confusion!
Is this version thicker than the one from the video posted a year ago? You said in the older video it was 3mm thick and this one is 3.4mm, also it looks thicker to me, do you still sell the old one if that’s the case?
The bridge is for redundancy. It helps maintain a solid connection to the battery in case one of the two positive terminals gets momentarily disconnected.
Does the new airtag design get bricked if you snip the speaker wire out? I have seen some comments saying a firmware update prevents it from working if you disable the speaker. Thoughts?
They still work as far as I know, however to be safe, you can keep the coil and just leave out the magnet. This will do the trick while making it impossible for the AirTag to know about its missing speaker.

Very nice product and great tutorial!
Nice. It's tempting to just buy your finished product. I am always misplacing my wallet in my cluttered house. I'll think about it.
Thanks for your consideration, Aaron :)
I just bought one, I lost my wallet recently and was in full panic for a couple days. Hopefully this will end that problem.
I'm looking to mod this into a different device (iPod Classic), where exactly should power be wired to on the airtag?

@@Rovis_Tech Thanks for the clarification I misunderstood the size difference.
Would this work for the moto tag? Or be pretty similar?

Unfortunately the old one wasn't as reliable, so i had to increase thickness to improve reliability.
Why do you have to Bridge it
Does it get Bridge in the original case as well?
