Hey Travis I finally got Adobe XD on my Windows computer. Thanks to your videos I was able to grasp some of the basics. Although it's still missing some of the features the mac version has, I got to say I'm already liking Adobe XD.
is it possible to export my prototype as pdf/jpeg/png with it's clickable functions? if you have done it .. how did you do that .. when I save them in png/pdg.. its not clickable and have to go through each screen like a slideshow althugh I wireup the screens ..thanks
how can i set an item in the screen (like the upper bar with the time, wifi, battery indicator, etc) so that when I scroll that item remains fixed and doesn't scroll with the rest of elements???
hey trav i love your show..i just want to know that is it necessary to make moblie version of the responsive website first my website looks preety good in pc but its hard to maintain it in mobile ... images kind of over lapping ..
Thanks for another great basic tutorial. Does the prototyping support fixed headers/footers with scrolling area between, timers, animated gifs (i.e. Spinners), and text entry?
How can I export an XD project into a real working app that can be installed on android? Is it possible in XD? If yes, how do you do it? I meen a real app that can be installed on an android phone, not just a link to see how the project looks like. Thanks!
This is kick ass for prototyping. I've worked on some similar software for rapid prototyping targeting people that want to learn coding too. This is for anyone. I think my wife could use it and she's not a developer or into IT.
Well... now I'm actually disappointed. I was hoping for way more stuff to be available in the prototype tab. Hopefully Adobe will provide more options later. Now it seems that all options that make Xd unique could be just some kind of a plugin to photoshop/illustrator.
Yes, the recording is great, I don't say this app is useless, but anyway, it's kinda poor. No fixed positioning, no scrolling (other than whole window), just clicks/taps (no other interactions), no UI animations, and so on. As the app's called Experience Design I was expecting more, because proper animations and touch interactions are most often the key to great UX.
2 videos in one day.. Cant get enough of Travis!!! :)
Awww, glad you are happy!
I LOVE this software. It's light, versatile and user friendly. Bravo Adobe and Dev too!
I feel so fucking happy that I just found about about this channel! I feel like binge watching all the 314 videos right now
what do you currently use to prototype?
VERY excited about XD... Hope to see a self-hosted solution outside of the cloud soon :D
Very nicely done!

would be cool if you showed how you designed that project.
How do you go from the prototyping to writing the actual code? is there a way to save html or css?
can you share the link of your prototype to view for us
Hey can you tell me what the track in the background of your video's called?
It's pretty cool
Hey, do you have a tutorial about a radial progress bar?
how can i set an item in the screen (like the upper bar with the time, wifi, battery indicator, etc) so that when I scroll that item remains fixed and doesn't scroll with the rest of elements???

To expand on timers: Say I want to simulate an animated spinner for 3 seconds before transitioning to the next screen.
Is cracked XD share protypes will work??

OFFTOP:
What do you think about React?
Well... now I'm actually disappointed. I was hoping for way more stuff to be available in the prototype tab. Hopefully Adobe will provide more options later. Now it seems that all options that make Xd unique could be just some kind of a plugin to photoshop/illustrator.
I thought the recording feature was pretty clutch.

@@cyborg86pl there is scrolling now
Great video!
Windows Users ... waiting....
Jei Dawnn
yep...😞
this month… soon ;-)
Try Affinity Designer while you're waiting, I'm using that and loving it!
2016!
DevTips any alternative of codekit???
Nice Christmas tree
You are incredible. I love you even more :D
Too limited options for my taste. Sketch + Principle or Figma is the way to go as of now.
Anything specific missing?
Very nice product!
PS: In my city we need offshore to surfing xD
it would be a cool app, huh!
means basically UI kit is not available for windows users...!!! so sad
Hi Travis :)
hello!
got an adobe ad on this video. lol
Devtips, or Designtips? This channel is becoming a shell of its former self...
Thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it, despite the condescension.
Wait.. what's the difference? Aren't you developing something when you do the design stage?
Its a bit of software? Chill, a learning opportunity is an opportunity nonetheless.
Kimi no Na Wa?
Adobe trying to destroy Sketch and InVision. Anyway, love XD.
it is an interesting approach. I like the competition.
