I know Rich has been doing this a while but he’s slowly been becoming my go to for anything football related. Other channels are great too but Rich has grown on me so much this past year, thanks for what you do fella!
Yup, I stated watching his show several years ago, good stuff for sure. I always look forward to Overreaction Monday/Tuesday after the game weekend. What's More Likely is fun. Rich is about as fair and well thought out of a commentator as you can find.
My only criticism is he won't call out obvious things if it might offend someone he may see in person at some time or another. Sometimes it's Chris that's like are you serious? That's all. And he contradicts himself a whole lot. All on the Purdy train until his wife's best friend dumped on him. Now Purdy is just soso.
@@theinfiniterush You mean 2025? They dont have half of the team signed by then. Its alot of cap space but they also need to sign 25 extra players, so its still not that promising.
What's even crazier is that everybody--media, fans, sports YT--knew this was a bad idea from the second the deal was inked, except the Giants front office.
The crazy thing about the Chargers is that they don't really have any crazy big names anymore outside Herbert. How they wound up in Cap Hell is beyond me.
We need to trade Bosa. Mike Williams was rough, but he was getting old too. We need to restructure Allen as he is getting old. Khalil Mack needs to be traded or needs to be restructured as well. Thanks Telesco!
Patrick Peterson is still out there in FA, who can still play CB/Safety.. I don't know how much he'll cost? But you have to turn over every stone to see what you can get in the FA market. I imagine that he won't break the bank cuz he only wants to play for one more season (which will be his 14th season) You'll have an savvy veteran that can still play at a high level & can be an asset to the Chargers organization by being an example (via work ethic, studying film) to these younger CB's thats already on the team, and using his experience & knowledge of the game and the position in a tutelage fashion to teach the current CB's that the Chargers have & who every the Chargers draft at CB (like a Terrain Arnold) and show them how to be a consummate pro.....
Man, the Chargers GM was nuts on spending others people's money! I would've fired the GM Tom Telesco for sure 2 years ago. I really don't care if he was the guy who drafted Justin Herbert, he was also the dude who hired Brandon Staley, don't do us any favors bud!
I love these Bosa brothers, but they don`t play enough games to take up that kind of salary, I wouldn`t touch Joey, they are both studs when healthy, when healthy.
Mack was willing to restructure his deal, so he will remain a Bolt. Bosa is trade bait but cutting him only frees up 4 mill. Williams is Gone and the Bolts are 5 plus mill in the green.
Chargers should probably cut all 4. They need a full rebuild around Herbert. Those 4 are super expensive past their prime players. They may still have value to a contending team, but to the Chargers they’re anchors holding them back from being relevant in the next few years. Cut bait, try and draft well and then look to bolster your young team with trade/free agents starting next year. This upcoming season is a write off.
If you're talking about Mike Williams I agree. Because they could easily keep Mike and put him in once in a while. In other words sparingly use him where he's best, going deep. But not use him enough to where he gets injured. They needed to use Mike dub sparingly. I don't know why the coaches couldn't figure that out. The reason why Mike Williams got injured as much as he did is because they use him too much. It's a miracle the same thing didn't happen to Keenan. I'm talking about injuries period but Mike lands on his back a lot when he comes out of the air making those circus catches. Very sad to see Mike Williams go😢
Looking at the Charger's cap #'s and I'm praying that Telesco doesn't spend his way into a similar situation in Vegas. But to be fair, the Chargers are one of those team that everyone perpetually thinks are contenders, so it seems like they were spending in "win now" mode. If our idiot HC (McDumbass) and OC had schemed up ANYTHING to block Mack, his season wouldn't have been so spectacular, because he got most of his sacks against the Raiders who were starting a rookie QB in his first game.
This salary cap situation was designed for a SB run that failed to materialize. They need to cut bait and start over, these Chargers are too injury prone and way overpaid.
Saquan, if he dosent get hurt, the eagles are a great team. But them Chargers, watch the fk out! He didnt say multiple championships for no fkn reason. This team is loaded, and Staley, mccoy, or a back 2 back super bowl champion head coach in Anthony Lynn, didnt know how to process and evaluate a team that has all the tools in place to make a serious run. The cheifs are cooling out since they are a new dynasty. But other teams won multiple championships while under the grip of a dynasty.
Bolts fan here. Only want keenan to return. Williams is whatever and neither bosa or mack fit the new scheme minter is putting together, loved mack last year, but the trade value seems better rn. Unsure if we can get value back for bosa or williams but I'm okay if we let williams walk
nobody is gonna trade for these guys. They're gonna wait for them to cut one and pick them up cheap. No way someone is gonna give away picks and resign mack to a big contract at his age.

I appreciate the sentiment but the phrase is actually "hear, hear".
The Chargers currently have 142.2m of their cap taken by 4 players. 55.6% of your teams cap in 4 non QB players. Crazy.
Yeah, and thats with Herbert new contract still not yet hit the hard part.
@@theinfiniterush You mean 2025? They dont have half of the team signed by then. Its alot of cap space but they also need to sign 25 extra players, so its still not that promising.
Add Derwin James and Justin Herbert, their 5th and 6th highest cap hits, and the Chargers are at 69-70% with just 6 players.
What coupons did Tom use because it wasn't a good one. Like a backwards coupon. Pay mo.
It’s unfortunate Mack isn’t ending his HOF career with a contender!
Showing the cap hits are great but you need to include what the true cap savings is if cut. That is the important number
Great point. Do you have those numbers?
60% of your cap going to 5 players is wild. Chargers are in trouble
Not anymore ⚡️⚡️⚡️
Daniel Jones at 47 mill krazy
He is fast
What's even crazier is that everybody--media, fans, sports YT--knew this was a bad idea from the second the deal was inked, except the Giants front office.
Joey Bosa playing with Nick would be awesome. Likely have to be a cheap 1 year deal.
the 49ers cap is in the negative. they cant sign the Waterboy
Yeah love it get him out of LA
@@PopePlatinumBeatsyeah it’s unlikely I know.
They just cut Mike Williams (the easiest to replace in this years draft)
Hopefully the rams get one of those guys Mack or Bosa. Makes sense the can go to another team without having to move
Raiders are looking at Mack after he is cut.
Bring him home
After the Wilkins addition, that would be huge
Restructured. Mack is staying in LA

Mack stays!. Restructures contract (again). Good move by Chargers/Mack.
They just kicked the can for Mack Attack!

Kind of light on what moves are available to the Chargers. But we'll find out soon.
But what is the dead money hit on the Chargers? Cutting them...may not help much as one thinks
Each of them will cost about 12mil in dead cap and Bosa cost around 22mil, but that still means they would save around 20mil for each player cut.
We need to trade Bosa. Mike Williams was rough, but he was getting old too. We need to restructure Allen as he is getting old. Khalil Mack needs to be traded or needs to be restructured as well. Thanks Telesco!
Joey Bosa making a whole lot of money just to rehab the last 2 seasons. Thats a bad deal
People need to stop trying to point Bosa to SF. They always take injury prone players hoping they miraculously turn into probowlers
@@Richard-gw2lr Joey is a probowler though, but hes been injured the past few seasons

Those salaries are insane!
I’d rather have Jake Browning as my QB (at $950K) on 4 of these teams. You wouldn’t be any worse.

Only QB on that list worth the money is Stafford
Come back to the Raiders Mack…legendary D potential.
Wasted money lol. Only 2 players on that list have made and won the SB....and they both play for the same team.
Chargers cutting Allen, Mack, & Williams maybe all four including Joey Bosa

Khalil Mack isn't going to be the one who stays. Because of one simple fact, he is 3 years older than Joey Bosa.
But Bosa is the one who misses many games each year due to injury = damaged goods.
Dallas won’t do anything
Daniel Jones being in the top 5 kind of makes me want to throw up a little 😅
Thanks Telesco. Bosa sucks, has always sucked and Telesco paid him.
The Chargers should've never left San Diego, worst decision that franchise ever made.
Chargers is joke franchise been for decades dating back to San Diego days
Mack and bosa will be back
