- This is a quick guide to getting started with RFID.
It's not difficult and saves a ton of time on inventory. However, RFID is precise and if you've never had precise inventory before, it can be a bit hard to deal with.
Tagging:
1. Select an RFID tag.
2. Place RFID tag on item and use QuickTag to assign it a type (e.g. This RFID = A Louis Vuitton Zippy wallet)
Inventory:
1. Scan and take inventory! When you're done you will see if any items were missed. You can go find them or 'save this' as your new inventory.
Locate:
1. The best feature of RFID is finding misplaced items.

@@SimplyRFIDcan that RFID scanner scan stacks of my devices if I stick the sticker straight on to the devices?
For example a rack consist of 4row of stacked Notebooks (each row has 10 devices stacked) with no space between each row. I stick the tags below the notebooks body.
I'm asking this because I read on google that RFID can't read if the the tags is between metal material. They said the RFID scanner cannot pass through metal.
Hi, can the unique number of the RFID tag be associated with the name of an object or a photograph of it so that I can then recognize it when reading the tag?
