From my perspective, Jake Paul is a high adrenaline sports youtuber. He has youth on his side. However, he is not a 'True'' fighter. Tyson is a fighter, he grew up fighting, and had someone that properly trained him at an early age how to box. You can teach someone how to box, but that doesn't make them a fighter.
Jake's gonna have to avoid getting put in a corner, that's what I think.

Jake Paul is so protected from reality he doesn't fully understand who Tyson is and what he's done. experience, conditioning, technique is way more important than age difference here. Over his career we've seen that there are 2 completely different versions of Tyson. There's the Tyson who wants to fight and loves boxing, is motivated solely by desire to win and is wholly invested in every way- from the 1st day of training, until hes standing over a ko'd opponent and the other Tyson who is angry at boxing and everything connected to it, takes any opportunity to self sabotage cause he's feeling sorry for himself and wallowing in the belief that hes been unfairly victimized and taken advantage of, cant control his emotions or petulant attitude caused by depression, only fighting out of obligation or debt and doesn't care about the outcome, only getting it over with asap. Anyone who gets in the ring and takes proper punches has my respect, I still train and had a few amateur fights when I was younger, but I won't even spar these days as I really hate the pain of getting punched in the face and it's not even the instant pain its the two weeks of your face n neck feeling absolutely shagged and trying to breath with a broken rib. Plus I received a hypoxic TBI with Epilepsy so I have first hand experience what it is like to live with brain damage, it changes you personality, messes with your memory and cognition etc, sometimes I will just be staring into space or at the floor and can be frozen in that position until someone gets my attention, I cannot understand a lot of the stuff I learnt in university, I read old work and go "nar I didn't do that" and then try do some mental arithmetic where you cannot even remember the first number.
These guys are machines and put an awful lot on the line for the passion and our pleasure. Amir Khan has never been the smartest of people, but watch a few videos of him younger and then now......listen to his speech and then that confused look where he's clearly forgot something. Once CTE has set in it only gets worse with age, even if you remove the bumps to the head.
I understand why everyone involved is hyping this up. To get more ppl interested......more money for them.....but we all KNOW this is an exhibition. They are NOT gonna let Mike hurt that boy. Mike don't WANT to hurt that boy. Lucky for Jake.

Tyson's forgotten more about boxing that Paul's ever learned. That's WHY Tyson's dangerous! He's going to see things in that ring, the way a rookie like Paul doesn't. Mike's going to know what Paul's going to throw, before Paul even knows what he's throwing... which is going to make it very tough for Jake Paul to do anything but get a painful boxing lesson.
While I feel Mike is gonna knock him out cold I also feel like it's all for show. Mike is gonna play with him for the whole fight and at the end Jake Paul will miraculously win by decision. 😮
Mike has always been on the fringe so no different here. Mike is not like a showman, he is a warrior being asked and rewarded to display only HIS skills once again. For us in Gen X, nice to see. We are not dead yet. God bless Mike, Jake and their bout.

Holyfield took much more punishment than Tyson and fought many more years. He fought an exhibition a few years ago and looked so slow and easy to hit. His body looked wrecked.

Mike was born to fight whilst Jake was born to irritate people. The problem here is that Mike is 27 years older than Jake. If Jake gets through the first few rounds and then starts to pick up the pace, Mike might begin to fade. It's actually an interesting fight. The only thing that worries me is the risk of Mike getting hurt if he doesn't KO Jake early. Mike has been troubled by poor stamina ever since he came out of prison in 1995. I just hope he can get an early win over Jake. I have been a big fan of Mike's for nearly 40 years now so I would hate to see him get seriously hurt, just for a pay cheque!

People are spreading misinformation about the rules of this fight. Let me try and remedy that.
Rule 1. Jake will be allowed to unload one extended mag uzi clip with hollow point ammunition, once per round. The Uzi will be thrown at Jake's feet upon the 'Uzi Timer'⏳ringing. The Uzi Timer specifications are being fleshed out right now.
2. Jake will be equipped with bladed, electrified gauntlets ⚡, but will have to remove them if choosing to utilize the Uzi (refer to rule 1).
3. Mike will be slathered in slippery and flammable oil at the begining of each round. Upon any blow, be it glancing or solid, from either Jake's gauntlet or any bullets fired...an assigned referee will promptly ignite Mike with a glorified tiki torch 🔥.
(The fight may be ended upon forfeit, or when Mike has turned to ash and bone)
And finally 4: Mike will be dosed / darted at various stages before and during the match with high potency psychedelics. To ensure the matchup is fair. The particular concoction of tripper juice is yet to be decided (they have experts from all over the world working on it)
