Jim Leavitt at South Florida had composure problems like this and it bled over to his players. His teams could win the big game, but not a seasons worth.
Yeah Leavitt eventually ended up assaulting one of his players during halftime and never got to be a head coach again. He's a hell of a defensive coach though.

Super Bowl championship coaches like Mike Ditka, Bill Parcells and Jimmy Johnson used to go off on their guys like this all the time and their teams turned out alright. I know times have changed and all, but this WAS a pretty ridiculous penalty to commit at a crucial time in the game. He had every reason to be mad.
