- S:t Jacobs Chamber Choir and Gary Graden performs Agnus Dei by Samuel Barber in a concert in Basilica di San Pietro in Perugia, Italia, in September 2016.
This piece was originally written as "Adagio for Strings" in 1936. Later, in 1967, the composer Samuel Barber rearranged the piece for choir and added the latin text Lamb of God - Agnus Dei.

This music lives in a special place in the human soul... for the ages.
Oh yes! We totally agree
One of my most favorite pieces of music. Memories of singing this in the Duke Chapel with the Duke Chapel Choir in the 1970s.
Heavenly

Nice
Homeworld anyone?
It's the same music, isn't it? It's a great piece!
Honestly, one of the best uses of music as a storytelling means in a computer game ever. I shed a tear whenever I hear this due to how it brings the whole story and setting to life, and it's haunting, heavy and painful.
I don't know if I would remember that game without this song
Should have just shown the video. Photos are worthless and annoying.
