@@daniels6718 i can't even say if that statement is true because I played it just long enough to realise how much I didn't like the game... Something like 5 -10 mins.
Absolutely. I'm not really big on rap or hip hop at all. I do like A FEW things. But I love metal, punk, pop punk, alternative the most. However, the rap and hip hop from THUG1/2 AND THAW are amazing. 1998-2004 or whatever the timeline is was a golden era of music conglomeration All the playlists carved out and generated my music tastes in a lot ways too
THAW is a must... THPS2 will alwqays hold the throne for me, but THUG/THUG 2 and THAW are almost equally nostalgic for me, not to mention the music was equally as badass

This is amazing. Pro Skater 4 was the first game I ever played, on my best friends ps2. His memory card was corrupted so we never got to play more than one level, but it was still the coolest thing I'd ever seen. And I swear, the soundtrack shaped my music taste later in life.
From the heart of every dude and dudette playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video game series to the hearts of how every music artist represent the best of skate punk music. Thank god, Kye is the best drummer ever! : )
I am from that generation. Im playing THPS since the release. Its everything here, the boards, the climax (awesome record, decoration, edit, master...) Thanks for the post.
The soundtrack of my childhood! Playing THPS all day everyday and skating. Takes me back massively. They smashed it with the game and the soundtrack. Good Times
Smart move saving the rest of the series so you have an excuse for a sequel. Thank you for letting me relive the games that shaped a large chunk of my musical tastes.
I played Tony Hawk 2 as a small kid (probably like 5 or 6) on my dad’s PS1. I wasn’t any good at it, but it’s one of the first video games I ever played, (along with Metal Gear Solid 1 and this brought back some memories man.
Man this is insane. I can't imagine how long it took to map out the arrangement, let alone get a clean take. Did you use any kind of metric modulation to transition between tempos, or just go by feel? Huge props dude.
I went to middle school with a Kye Smith. Come to think of it I don't really remember seeing him at high school. Wonder what happened with him. Thanks for reminding me of an old acquaintance! Maybe I'll look him up sometime
You've accessed parts of my brain that been asleep for 13 years
just 13?? i think mine are more like... 21 yikes i feel old :(
Evan Parker dude same
Go get the remastered games!!
facts
there's a place where everyone can be happy - and it's here.
the most beautiful place in the whole fuckin world
Happy and nostalgic at once
Man this band is sometig elese
I came for Jerry was a race car driver.
Kinda wish he'd played 96 quite bitter beings just a bit longer.
Fair play for continuing to learn the drums for THPS5 the part when most people leave
The games soundtrack was good. Nothing else about THPS5 was but....
@@daniels6718 i can't even say if that statement is true because I played it just long enough to realise how much I didn't like the game... Something like 5 -10 mins.
Saw this just as I was leaving (it was the THPS5 part)
Even if the game sucked, the soundtrack is amazing
@@tygodfrey9913 ikr? thps5 was garbage. The challenges were trash. That OST was something else tho.. it was great.
The Pro Skater series shaped my taste in skillful games and music. Maybe do a THUG, THUG2, and THAW one eventually?

Never realized how much the soundtrack to THPS 3 is ingrained in my head
Every. Single. Song.
4:34 "Hey, what's up guys? Welcome back to Binging with Babish, where this week-"
-wait, wrong script.
The drum intro to The Boy Who Destroyed the World is so killer.

My interest in music started with THPS2, such a nostalgic ride with the monitor in the back
The play list for Pro Skater 4 is by far my favorite out of the series it really brings me back when I was 7 and just jamming to the music
Minha infância foi com esta trilha! hugs from Brazil 🇧🇷 🇧🇷
Let’s be honest, this soundtrack should be preserved forever! Job well done
I would watch you play EVERY song on drums from THPS to THAW...this is something the world needs!
THPS and BMx games. Best games having best music. Punk rock for Ever👌❤️❤️
From the heart of every dude and dudette playing Tony Hawk's Pro Skater video game series to the hearts of how every music artist represent the best of skate punk music. Thank god, Kye is the best drummer ever! : )
Listening to 2 and 3 really bring me back. These games shaped a lot of the music I listen to today.

I'm glad 5 minutes chronology is back
You've accessed that nostalgia where I remember I love every single song in these games
This is so good. Nailing absolutely every transition with ease.
The soundtrack of my childhood! Playing THPS all day everyday and skating. Takes me back massively. They smashed it with the game and the soundtrack. Good Times
For two decades I've sang "you've got me running in a cycle home"
"amoebaaaa, amoebaaaa, amoebaaaaa" This always sticks in my brain but I never remember who the song is by. That and Nebula by Giant.
Beyond impressed. Most people outside watching in don't understand how much technique and patience comes with this. Awesome!
to remember all those transitions, simply amazing man!
This is a realistic simulation of what it's like to listen to me scrolling through the track selection menu trying to decide what I wanna skate to.
Smart move saving the rest of the series so you have an excuse for a sequel. Thank you for letting me relive the games that shaped a large chunk of my musical tastes.
Sooo much nostalgia and so much treble on your kick and toms, click-tastic
That ernies album is a fucking gem and more people need to hear it tbh
Oh man the distillers. Havent heard their music in a very long time. Great video and drumming
Tony hawk pro skater three is so overlooked
Firmly agree

This made way happier than I thought I would be revisiting old memories ! Sickkk performance as well my dude!
00:32 - 00:49 is just sheer nostalgia!
Really love your video. I’d love to see a AFI chronological drum cover!!
I’m amazed at the effort that went into learning this
Kye's 5 mins compilation vids are good for introducing songs to one's music discovery... and listening to this one while running is just motivating👏👏
Still waiting for the Queen chronology....Amazing job!
Much respect dude. Nice playing. I remember these tracks like yesterday. Good reminiscent 🤘🤙
It’s good to have you back Kye!
I wish I could like this video 1 million times! Golden times of my life!
Wow this is the best thing I’ve seen in awhile, the way you connected each song works perfectly.
This is probably the best drum chronology I've ever seen!!
Insane. One of the coolest things I've seen. Brought back amazing memories.
Brilliant Concept!!!! Lots of good songs in these games and I was reminded of a bunch I had forgotten about.
Awesome stuff bro 🤘.
That was just insane!! Made my head spin. Jesus!
THE LEGEND HAS RETURNED
This is very nice....your kit sounds great too, love this game and these songs, and you’re nailing each one too
Pro skater 4 baby!! Best soundtrack by far! That was my youth lol
Heck yeah, man!! Thanks for this. You just changes my playlist for the day!!
This chronology is definitely one of your best! Keep drummin' man!
Haha I’ve been waiting 100 years for Kyle smith to upload again
Uff.. me trae recuerdos! Se extraña ese juego 😭
Wow, surprise blast from the past!!
it’s a good day when kye uploads. let alone an excellent video like this!
THE KING HAS RETURNED
wuuuuuaaaooo great brother, your videos and blink 182's was phenomenal, the best of all
2:33 damn i wasnt expecting that, gang starr is the best rap group and the guru is the best rapper
Hey Kye, I've been a huge fan of yours ever since 6th grade. You should really do a 5 min. Drum chronology of Linkin Park
That would be awesome
Brings back so many memories!
This is CRAZY. Mad skill all the way around.
The transitions and execution. Nailed it. Tony would be proud
Man this is insane. I can't imagine how long it took to map out the arrangement, let alone get a clean take. Did you use any kind of metric modulation to transition between tempos, or just go by feel? Huge props dude.
Duuude, THPS 5 was so disappointing to me that I forgot the awesome soundrtrack it has.
Awesome video, Kye!
That was just a part of My life in highlights.. I hope You can do the he same with the Game Bournout it has a great soundtrack
2:50 I'd pay to hear a full version of Whenimondamic with drums
Lol same
Shimmy by SOAD in that game was the song that made me discover the band.
Tony hawks 5......but we don’t talk about that game....
leave it forgotten in the dirt
The ost is actually a nice selection
i mean, the only good ones were THPS 1-4, Underground 1, and maybe American Wasteland lol
Corey Stuber and thug 2
Even the soundtrack was shit. He should've stopped at 4 it would've been a better video imo
My god dude this brings back so much memories of my childhood !!!!! 🤯🤯🤯🤩🤩
Waiting for a full version video! :D You rock! \m/
AC/DC - TNT was my intro into rock music as a 7yo chap. And I first heard it through THPS4's opening sequence. I still play the OG games on my PS2.
I’m sure I would’ve found this channel eventually, but big thanks to Jacky Road Studios for helping me find this channel!
Jeez this is good
On point. Your kit sounds really good, matches your skills.
All the skateboards behind you are awesome great this made my day
ITS IMPORTANT TO PRACTICE GOOD HYGIENE
hearing that bodyjar tune again oh my that brings a tear to my eye
These transitions are so smooth my god
Now this is some quality fucking content boys. I didn't even know I wanted this, until I saw this video...and it was everything I wanted.
I find it crazy how you can almost emulate EVERY single drummers unique play style.
Something I didn't think I needed but I did. So many good songs I forgot about.
The amount of nostalgia that this just gave me
Hell yeah dude. Love all your videos and how you connect all songs together. Really cool man. Rock on 🤘🏻.
Man I always forget how incredible the THPS3 track list is 🔥🔥🔥
I went to middle school with a Kye Smith. Come to think of it I don't really remember seeing him at high school. Wonder what happened with him. Thanks for reminding me of an old acquaintance! Maybe I'll look him up sometime
Kickass...brings back memories! Thanks dude.
I dead ass had so many flashbacks listening to this video thank you so much🔥🔥
holy shit this guy drums god damn the tempo changes were just beautifully done
Yo you did this all in one take? Insane! So much nostalgia from my childhood days. Awesome job man.
This bring back some good memories
I did not see this coming but it was a pleasant surprise
That THPS3 section is straight fire. 🔥
I was unaware that there was a Reverend Horton Heat song in a Tony Hawk game. This is news
This must’ve taken a lot of planning to do. Loved it. Though I of course was totally unfamiliar with most of the THPS5 songs.
1:27
ah yes
Las Aventuras de Roberto Manfinfla
Tony Hawk games introduced me to so many good bands
Those uno, dos, tre decks are sick man
Uhhhh esto es buenisimoooo! Voy a volver a armar la dreamcast!
is it me loving all of the song or is it your drum that sounds that badass?🔥
Awesome! Now from Underground to Project 8 please!
@TriVos Ahren Not bad but it would be too much in five minutes
It would be really awesome if you made a video explaining how you make drum chronologies
It would probably be a 200 hour long video
This is awesome now that you’ve done all the pro skater games you gotta do the other games they’re just as badass
