Free hand pattern and cutting in Nigerian sewing is fantastic. I am fascinated. Any day you have time to start online private tutorials let me know I will sign up.
Yes maa, I noticed when I use that method it takes too much time but using a little bit machine oil at the back remove the tags and sticky immediately and press very easy try it
Please my dear Mrs T, is 7 inches the standard from the waist line; or does it varies based on height? Thanks for imparting alot to me especially. Someday, i will pay you a visit in your office in Abuja. Cos, i am here too.
Yes Mama it is much. But in the video she pulled a calculation trick she only used 8.5 for the armhole measurement. You know that her shoulder slope was 1.5? You see how she went to the tip of the fabric to measure the arm hole rather than the "slope point", that's how she reduced the actual armhole measurement by 1.5. Also remember that she will still shape the dress, instead of repeatedly telling us to add so and so for sewing allowance, she just added it all up. When she is shaping, she'll cut out the excess. I hope you understand myblong epistle 🙂. Bless Up Sis😘

Why did you use 11inches for the armhole?
When you deduct the 1.5" from 11" for the neck slant you'll be left with 9.5" which is still very okay for bust 38".

Where is the 3rd video?
Tomuli.abiola you are a great designer and teacher, but could you please edit? Please show us more and limit the over explanations.
Please ma
Why did you add 10 inches extra to the full body measurements
It's for all the allowances we need to sew in, zip and darts...
Please i needed to ask questions
I think 11 inches is too much for the Armhole for burst 38
