my god...how beautiful is this man?????
I agree, he is gorgeous. :)
Right

@@amany247 there’s no difference, really...
He is beautiful. Those eyes, cheek bones, brows, chin, nose, mouth... He is perfect. Also remember, he has zero make up. Imagine if he has some eye shadow and eye liner. He is soooo beautiful without any supplement.
In the original novel, Lombard is often described as being like a panther or other predatory beast--Turner's the first Lombard I've seen who lived up to the description. Just the way the man moved made me think he was stalking prey, even in his pre-dinner scene with Vera.
In the book he also have a small 1930s moustache (if I remember correctly) . Agatha Christie probably had Erol Flynn on mind when she created his character.
How could Vera have even shot this glorious beast??
I know - even though he was evil - I would have kept him around just to stare at him.
Assila 97 Is it bad that I shipped Vera Claythorne and Phillip Lombard??
um no I think we all did
Exactly
Autumn 46 Ik that’s what I said
Aidan Turner, unlike in real life, where he's smiling and funny, plays "evil" very well. The dark intensity of his character shows just what a great actor Aidan is.
You serious? Great actor? Horrible acting as Lombard in the series. Always the same angry face and look, overreacting to anything with the same serious tone, even when there's nothing to react to, fake gargling voice... Totally ruined the character, I'm sorry. Rest of the cast worked very well in their roles, though.
But he's cute, I guess.

conatcha
But that’s how Lombard is....
@@conatcha lol he was great what you on about?
@@im_so_bored3896 I have explained myself clearly. Read it again all times you need to understand what I am on.
He's too handsome for this world
Sorry , hate to be a wet blanket , but after seeing him in Poldark Looking at him here does nothing for me , to me he looks rather ordinary looking . Much better looking in Poldark , no comparison .!!!
lol yeah he is, with the risk of sounding like a loon - he's the only guy who's so astonishingly good looking that i cannot help but stare, like his so out of this world gorgeous. he's the male shakira basically.
I swear, I had a hard time getting properly scared watching this show because of how handsome Aidan looked in his Lombard get up, it was so distracting =)))
Absolutely!!!
He is devilishly handsome as Philip Lombard and there is this quiet menace about him as if there's a predator lurking just beneath the surface. Aidan Turner did a great job and he would make a great James Bond as well!
He is definitely a predator that Lombard so Aidan encaptured that perfectly!
What a beautiful man and great actor. He should be the next James Bond.
What type of bond would he be
@@austinpearce5442 if I had guess something more like Dalton, dark as Craig but more suave and sophisticated and a bit less blunt and melancholic
i catched a moment he was like agent 007.
yaaasssss exactly
From your lips to God's ears! He would be perfect.
What a man! What a Voice!
his voice,his acting,HIM omg
Everytime I hear him talking about movies he is into, he's saying that the crew and actors are fantastic . I think maybe it's because he seems to be a good-natured and easy-going guy.
Aidan looks and sounds like he got the dream role of his life!
What makes Lombard unique is that he is the only one--at least in the 2015 series--that admits he is a murderer from the very start. Everyone else is in denial but not him....he is as he says the only truth teller in a room full of liars. Of course, he is a truth-teller and not in denial cuz killing 21 men didn't bother him one bit. No guilt so no denial i.e. psychopath.
He is handsome.♥️I have a crush on him.
I can't imagine how it is possible to shoot so glorious brut. And his voice is really divine.
Aidan Turner as Philip Lombard is superbly cast. Tremendously looking forward to seeing this movie :)
They were all well cast.
What did you both think? Miniseries are always better than movies to truly flesh out the book!
He lived up to his character so well and his acting was the strong reason why i kept enjoying the show ❤️
How interesting to hear his native Irish accent from the moment he mentions his name in this interview...
I have such a crush on this actor, it is ridiculous
HE IS SO CUTE OMG
He is a beauty no doubt about it.
Why he's so attractive? 😍
This show was amazing! so gripping i sometimes forgot to take a breath! i could listen to this man for hours... my heart 😍
While reading the book, i thought Anthony Marston would be so handsome, but after seeing lombard..
I was like👁️👄👁️.....😍😍😍
I have no words.
😂😂😂
Bond...James Bond.
+C Mayer He really would be perfect. Reminds me of mix of Connery/Dalton/Brosnan.
Looks like you might be getting your wish!
totally and he'd be so different from all the previous ones, the franchise needs him, he's the only tuly special and interesting name mentioned so far, I ike tom hiddeston but he reminds me too much of te previous bond, I hope aidan gets the role
Yes! He deserves a chance.
@@shopparinina I personally do not understand at all the massive hype around Tom Hiddleston for Bond. He's a good actor and all but he has super narrow shoulders, a wonky nose and his eyes are really close together.. he looks like a villain, not James Bond. I only just found out Aidan Turner exists a week ago and damn, he's perfect. I never expected to spot another actor who I thought would be a perfect 007 anymore, I had the feeling it was not going to occur again, but this is the guy. If they don't cast Turner I'll be shocked. His ability to do a more English style accent of various degrees is incredible also.
How did I miss this? How lovely to hear Aidan talk about this show. It was pretty amazing. And he certainly was!
I am so excited about this drama because of Aidan Turner♡
That guy must be the next James Bond
His voice & eyes ❤
I’m so in love with him 💕
Lol did he just claim to get excited about knowing which one was going to be murdered? And that he watched the previous version as a kid? He watched some dark ass shit as a kid. This actor is such a great talent. Can't wait until he starts getting casted in many movies in the states.
LOL I swear a lot of Irish/Welsh/Scot/Brits do . Dame Christie is a household name
Never mind what you're in. Take your shirt off !
Lol,trueee
I know the main scene you're talking about...although in the novel Agatha Christie wrote that Lombard had "stripped to the skin." Oh, well. Maybe there's a "Director's Cut" of that scene hidden somewhere? :D
Damn right
goodness he is gorgeous 😱
At 0:53 an enthusiastic little boy, with shiny eyes...
He looks like a baby on here so fresh!!!
He looks pretty giddy haha but its probably a Dream Role for him!
precious
So cute 😍
Vamos Aidan 🙌
Its so funny to see him smiling after watching him play a serios character :D
BOND!!!!!!
...James Bond.
Aidan is REAL BEAUTIFUL CHARISMATIC VERSATILE AND A BEAUTIFUL SOUL❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Beautiful Aidan kiss kiss
Did someone turn off the AC ? It's so hot in here ! :p
Hot hot hot hot hot arrrgh I loved that series and you were always my favourite.
Great job done I enjoyed it very much. Can't wait to see A.T. In something else now .Happy and successful 2016
Damn he's so cute
best one in the book so stupid vera was
This interview reminds me of the fantastic way Aidan portrayed the cyniçal feline Loombard what a charismatic actor perfect in sall this different roles from the charming vampire to the .adorable wolf the genius Leonardo de Vinci changing looks and expressions accordingly and remaining handsome and. Bewitching then nothing a series of plain ordinary roles and no more of his legendary smile what a shame
Get rid of Daniel Craig instantly. Aidan Turner is absolutely perfect to play Bond - a mixture of Brosnan and Connery
Gimme a break.
he is nothing like them
Agree. I wanted to love Craig as Bond but he's kinda ugly and looks like some Russian henchman masquerading as 007. It's time to go back to a more traditional suave James Bond with the proper looks. I wasn't sue about Turner at first, but since hearing how brilliant he is as altering and tempering his accent and how much he morphs into his roles and can really give off a lot of screen presence (which doesn't come across so much when he's just being himself in interviews) I was totally sold. No other candidates around really look like 007 as Aidan Turner does and I think he would play the role brilliantly. I'm getting kinda tired of Craig's bull-in-a-china-shop, face-like-a-smacked-arse approach now.
oh my hurt 💔
A Mixture of Fawad Khan and Jugal Hansraj 😍😍
I love youuuu
Lombard and Anthony were so hot bro😂💀
❤
THE NEXT JAMES BOND !
Is this adaptation going to be broadcast over Christmas? x

Vera should have been lucky 😂

These comments are slightly disturbing
Lombard + Squidward = Squidbard
I hate Vera
