- This was such a cool time! I was able to visit one of my subscribers and a fellow youtuber! I do quite a bit of travelling, comment on where you’re from below and maybe I’ll be able to visit your shop as well! I’d love to meet you. 😆 Ive been to Buffalo quite a few times, mostly to land in New York and cross the border to go to st. Catherine's Canada area and Toronto. Hopefully I'll be that way soon!

So this lathe thing. Be prepared to spend twice as much on tools and goodies as the lathe itself. One grand for a lathe and I’m probably three grand into accessories and tools. Don’t let that scare you, it’s awesome.

Oxford, NC. About 45 mins north of Raleigh/Durham area. I don't have much of a shop, it's a cramped 8x12 shed 😂

The lathe is the funnest tool in my shop. I will be coming to Ely on a canoe trip this summer.

Stillwater, Minnesota area here. You’re two hours north not bad. Closer to Superior Wisconsin/Duluth where BadAxe saw moved to. Worth the hour and a half drive.

I wish i could post a pic of a spindle i made by hand from a square stock. Its off by about 1/32 from the original chair piece. Yes i used calipers. Thats my lathe. 😅
Sounds like quite an undertaking. I am not near that accurate, especially by hand
