Daniel tiger has a great episode about going potty. And it talks about stopping when you’re playing to go potty. Great song. Great visual. I swear it sealed the deal with my oldest
Sawyer is so so so cute and funny to
We thought our great grandson would be in nappies for the rest of his life. He has autism and was going to a mainstream school but they really wanted him potty trained. My Granddaughter was brilliant at getting him dry in 3 weeks before starting school. Even the school couldn't believe it. So i'm really proud of Sawyer. He seems to be getting better at thing's. xx
So proud of Sawyer!!! We all knew he would get there!!!
Posey is so so so cute and funny to
Awesome!! Sawyer, you rock, dude!!! So proud of you!!! 🎉🥳
Wyn is so so so cute and funny to
You are doing such a wonderful thing sharing with other parents and you did an awesome job.I loved how he tried to get more lollipops, he’s sooo smart. You guys are incredible. I was just telling my adult son about a family at my school that have tough times because of their parents decisions and how the kids miss out.The kids are resilient at brush it off and move on but inside there’s sadness. You with all the challenges, are a wonderful example of what you can do when you truly love your children and advocate for them constantly. They are all so special.Six shining lights❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Terrific efforts and success!! Proud of Sawyer 👏🌟 I predict you will become a popular paid public speaker advocate helping others one day. 🙏🤗. ❤️ to all
YAY SAWYER!!! You know I agree that music helped since he is tactile and loves music!!! And I also think that just watching his siblings walking themselves to the bathroom and his classmates too might have also set off a light bulb that said”everyone else does it too!!! Maybe I should try that too. It’s better than a wet pull up”I’m glad everything worked. Thx for sharing what worked and what didn’t!!! Congratulations 🎉🍾🎊🎈 🎂🥇Sawyer and congratulations 🎉🎊🎈🍾 Emily and Will. Love your channel: PS Sawyer too funny trying to get more lollipops🙄😂😂😂😂. I think that’s every kid potty training. My two year old bro always be wanting more M and Ms for just sitting on the toilet
WAY TO GO SAWYER!!!!!!!!!!! That's such a creative idea to use music to help him become potty trained.
YAY SAWYER!!!! So proud of you buddy!!!
How encouraging!!!!! A huge life changing accomplishment for all of you!!!! What a blessing the music therapist was for you. Your channel is so important for other parents to see that there is hope & accomplishments in situations where you feel there is no hope. Sawyer is blessed to have two hard working determined parents to help him obtain this goal.
Yay!! Well done all!
So happy that Sawyer is potty trained. It took a while for me to potty train my son when he was little. He was so fearful of the toilet. He had regressions at ten and again a few times in his teen years with wetting the bed and also with bowel holding issues for years and urine holding a lot.
Over share warning. But I'm in my 50s and still need to remind myself of all the steps of using the toilet if anything distracting or different is around me. Not sure if it's my ASD or ADHD or anything else with me that contributes. But I notice it most with toileting and showering because I think to myself. No "normal" adult is this incompedent.
He's so cute
Thank you for this. While I have been able to successfully potty train my three older children by the age of 2, I have autistic twins that are 3 and while they do have language, potty training has NOT been happening and it’s so hard to explain to people why this seems to be such a huge hurdle for them. It’s nice to have an example of success and not to feel so alone that this isn’t happening right now.
Go Sawyer Go!!!😁👍👍
That is such a great idea 💡 💕
My son was 6 also when he was trained. The school was on board and boy did he put them through the wringer with it!! Particularly with poop. They worked SO hard with him! At almost 18 now he is trained but still has issues with withholding pee and poop. He is smart but is and always has been a behavioral kid. He still is not dry at night and needs to be wakened twice during the night to pee or he saturates a brief (which I think he still likes the feeling of) and the bed. I don’t know when/if that will ever be resolved. He does what he wants to do :/ it’s tough!
I understand the behavioral issues around this subject as im the same at 24, yet without support and encouragement when im in a BAD headspace the behaviours get worse. So i wish him all the best. Especially with the night time train as i know how tough it is.
AWESOME JOB SAWYER ❤️‼️‼️‼️‼️
I love watching your UA-cam channel
We ❤ You!!
Awesome sawyer
Maybe it was that the underwear was "different" at first & it was confusing to him. So exciting for him and you!
That’s what I was thinking! Underwear wasn’t what he was used to and he was testing the waters to see what would happen but once she consisted put him in underwear he kind of learned to stop.
