  • Stand with your feet shoulder width apart. To measure out a hand grip, measure a thumb length from the edge of the rough part to the smooth part and tighten your hand around the bar. Keep your elbows under your wrists, knuckles facing the ceiling. Take a deep breathe, keep your core tight, and then drive your knuckles towards the sky until the elbows lock out. Bring the back down slowly to it's starting position.
