What puts them ahead of EVERY other band is that they are seemless... Seemless pace switching (everyone), seemless switch from tapping to picking (lead guitar), seemless picking to slapping (bass) and so on. They merge together into ONE if they play together, there is so much chemistry and talent, for me it´s the best band on earth right now. I heard a lot of bands, metal, rock, dnb (Pendulum), punk etc., but they are taking the top spot easily! Greetings from Germany
IIRC Kanami's repeatedly said that guitar solos (basically 90% of this song) should "sing" like a vocal. And she writes the vocal melodies for other songs, they just get tweaked and elaborated by Miku & Saiki.

They usually do an instrumental mid-concert to give Saiki (lead vocals) a break. There are a couple instrumental they do, "Don't be long" is another favorite!!!👍👍🤘🤘🤘
I love this band more than any since the 90s because their mix of interesting musicianship and songwriting has, in my opinion, not been matched since then. I appreciate your continued look at this band. You've done so much Japanese music but I don't think you've yet touched on the absolute madness of Sokoninaru. I recommend "Tenohira De Odoru".
These ladies... 🔥I'm running out of superlatives over here. So on the 10th of May these ladies have an Okyu-ji (serving/concert) and it is also being streamed, I would definitely recommend. Thank you for the reaction 🖤

If you're looking for creative, interesting drumming, check out alone, No God, sayonakidori or Giovanni. Unfortunately there's no drum solos but I personally think drumming and instrumentation in general are more complex in these songs than in freedom.
