You can tell he hated the guts of it all. Putting up with the talkative host then lip syncing. I think management pushed him into the European continental market and I guess it paid off!

The host is a bit talkative indeed but he also insisted how honored they were to have Elton on the show at the beginning, so I guess Elton was treated rather well. Guess lip-synching must be boring for him but he did a great job anyway.
