- So here is something new for my channel, it's a little bit of an update as to how I'm going to execute the build on my 1/25 scale AMT Wilson Livestock Trailer.
I'm kit-bashing mine into a more modern 53' tridem axle unit and I'm going to hook it up to my blue and white Kenworth K100 Cabover.
I'll do another update before I showcase the final build and I'm hoping to put it all together soon!
Once again, I am very humbled and grateful for all of the compliments, likes and especially your subscription to my channel!
I look forward to continue building and showcasing my work! - Авто та транспорт
I built the box stock trailer a couple three years ago. Only trouble I had was that damn roll up door!! Looks like good un!!!!!
About the suspension, all 4 of our grain trailers are Springer's and 2 of them are less than 8 years old! A lot of farmers still want spring suspension; it's just more durable!
Hey Tom, you're right about that flippin' roll up door AND the spring suspension... they sure are tough! Thanks again Tom!
Hi Karl, Great build idea! I don't think that the cattle can tell the ride (spring or air),as long as the trailer is full to capacity. I see today that the manufacturers are up to 4 axles, with at least one lift. And I saw one with the last axle steerable! Great work Man👍👍👍!
Thank you Mark!
Karl+ love your builds top notch I am working on the shell tanker trailer now I am building it as a texaco rig I have the frightliner cabover I am building it as a day cab I ordered a bunch of aftermarket parts including photo-etch parts for the frightliner has the grill it's a nice set order new wheels and better tires I also have a kit of two 27 foot trailers tralmobel they have the conslodated freighways livery will do another frightliner cabover as well
Hey Dennis, thank you very much for the compliment! I love your ideas and I think it's great that you're going to build all those kits! Thanks for tuning in also!
Hey there, very interesting video, I'm still trying to figure out how you connected the sides together to make the trailer longer. I have watched this video several times and stopped it and studied it, I just don't see the joints. I really like your idea of using two kits to make a longer trailer. I like the idea of the triple axel too. Really looking forward to seeing the finished trailer , it's going to look awesome. I also agree with what you said about building models , it's supposed to be fun , I think a lot of people get so stressed out trying to make things perfect. I work hard to make my models to look good and try for perfection . Sometimes it takes me a couple of tries. You have inspired me now I want to try building a longer trailer using two kits. Going to be interesting to check out your paint scheme and what decals you will use. 👍
Yea, he did a great job 😉
@@THROTTLEPOWER Thank you !!
Hey Harold, thank you very much! I'm glad to have contributed to your inspiration and I hope you continue to keep on building those models... thanks again for the kind words, it means a lot!
Looking good Karl !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
