Good information as usual. And thank you for not having “You won’t believe how much I sold this for!” Everybody else does that. Thanks for keeping it real.
I still don’t understand how to find the clearance items if they aren’t marketed to begin with and aren’t always obvious. ? The elephant mug is cute. I’ve been a seller since EBay began, on and off through the years. It’s a lot of fun. When I started seeing “How to Sell on eBay” books, I realized I learned so much that I could have written them. Watching you do videos encourages me that maybe I could make vids too. There’s always someone who can learn something. Right? PS I saw some valuable collectibles that you passed by but that’s okay. You knew about things I never would have known to buy and sell either. We can’t all know everything about everything. I say, .pick something you love and start there. For me I, I started out by selling vintage videos games. As I shopped in the thrifts, I gravitated toward vintage china, collectibles, and antique crystal. After 25+ years, I’ve learned enough by now to make me a good profit too. Besides, hunting for that deal and scoring that item you love really is addictive. Ok. God bless. If you can clear up the clearance issue, I’d appreciate it. PPS I have a ton of vintage jewelry! It’s so much that I don’t know where to start. I watched your video on gold and learned some good tips. But still.... what about all this vintage jewelry? Thanks.
Hi, in a video I made a while back I show to look for secret clearance items you will have to look at my playlist. I am quite sure I walked passed many items that can be resold for a good profit. Sometimes filming keeps my eyes from seeing the good stuff until the editing phase😁. Antique gold is good to find and sell. It depends on the gold quantity as well of the type of item it is. Sometimes the antique value is just as good as the gold itself. Thanks for watching👍
Bad thing about it is you can scan and item that's in a clearance section and when you scan it it says it's out of stock in your store. I have made some good profit off some hidden clearance. Have a good one! Thank You for all the great advice.
Before the video I got an ad featuring a rotund Indian guy making pointy motions with one hand while holding a money-making sca--..course book in the other. Glad to know RK Treasure Center actually knows how to make real dollars, and shows you how.
Great job explaining the Walmart clearance stuff, that was great information. I have an idea for a future video. I understand that you do Ebay sales full time. I'm curious if you could calculate how much you get paid per hour to do what you do. That includes the time it takes going to thrift stores, scouting out potential items, taking photos, listing items, packing them up with a shipping label, and taking them to the post office. I'm curious if it's more like $10/hour or $15/hour on average. The best way to calculate that would probably be to track the number of hours spent working for a whole week, and determine your sales specifically for the items you listed and sold during that same specific week, less expenses. It would take some discipline to track your time for a whole week, but I think that would make an interesting video for your audience.
I have sold an elephant mug like that one. I found it in goodwill bins where they sell by weight. very cheap. I usually don't bother with breakables, but I make exceptions sometimes. Thanks for sharing Roy, useful info here... Like. :)
Hi Roy! New sub! I'm overwhelmed when i go in walmart. where do you even begin to look for these great deals? just look for anything with a clearance tag? or stuff on an end cap? sorry. i'm confused.
I got something today that was 10 dollars and it always is. But, it rung up for 3 dollars. I don’t think I will go around and scan everything to find discounts. But, sounds good to check the price as they have taken all of the price checkers down.
Hi Roy, quick question... I’m new to reselling so just curious. I was told that blank vhs or blank audio cassettes can’t be shipped media mail because there is no media on them yet. I was told this by a buddy of mine that is a US postal inspector. Is this correct?
Love that you can teach new online sellers and old sellers! Always learn something from you!
Thank you so much!!!😁👍

Hello and welcome! Yes I look at clearance section and end caps, but also look up at the top of the shelves lots of forgotten stock up there.👍
