It might be "mass manufactured swill," but that doesn't negate the fact it's delicious. I like what I like and don't need anyone trying to change my mind about what I think. Reeking of VIP and snobbery are what ruin the enjoyment of wines for me. Everyone has an opinion.
@@GentlemansClubWHISKY sorry dude, but when you have a UA-cam channel seemingly dedicated towards showing off quality spirits, you don’t get off that easy. Your palate needs a lot of refinement if you think bottles like Prisoner or Caymus are “delicious”. I say that not to be a snob, because my literal point here is that this stuff isn’t worth the money, and to provide an objective criticism. This stuff is made in tank farms and manipulated with over-extracted frozen grape mass, dyes like mega purple, and added vanillin and oak shavings. It all adds up to a product that indulges the uneducated palate with faked opulence. It’s Concord grape juice and vodka, not fine wine, even though the price might try to suggest otherwise. If these were more appropriately priced at $10-15, it might get away with being a sort of table wine “beverage” to satisfy people who don’t really like dry, classically made wines. But that’s not what Constellation Brands is trying to do here with $500-100 price tag bottles that you can find in gas stations….
@@therealmitch-a-palooza7262 You can go to my Instagram right now to see where I drank bottles of Overture and Opus One, Yarden Katzrin, Alexander The Great Grand Reserve, Chateau Margaux, Chateau Pichon Longueville Comtesse de Lalande, etc. Spending big money does not guarantee anything will taste good, nor does it guarantee it'll be my favorite. My life is too short for me to waste it on pretentious people or to listen to people tell me what I should drink and what I should like. Listen, there are about 38 million active channels on UA-cam. I have to tell you, I think this one is not for you. You'd have a better time and spend your time better elsewhere. I'm removing myself from this conversation.
@@GentlemansClubWHISKY so you’ve tried all those wines yet you post a video saying Prisoner is your favorite? People can like what they like…the one hill I’ll die on is fighting against the notion that these Constellation-brand wines represent anything remotely resembling quality.
If Prisoner is your favorite wine, you need to go out and try more wines. Everything Prisoner Wine Co makes is mass manufactured swill.
