@@suryakaniyur i realized the part i was trying to figure out is in the pattern of (I think) : 4 partials , 1 st - accented cheese , 2nd - left hand tap 3rd- tenuto diddle, 4th- left hand accent, all having a gradual crescendo throughout half the phrase more or less. referencing the very end of the main exposed snare solo.

@@Tealmaker gotcha. Those are all triplet rhythms, in phrases of 4! they do that for 4 measures :)
