- In case you missed Part 1 & 2, Jeff & Michael went to Johnson Valley, CA for the 2023 Ultra4 Race called King of the Hammers. We met up with Dan Hayes @TheBinderBoneyard and tackled a real hard trail called Sledgehammer on Day 1 of our trip. On Day 2 we wheeled a tough trail called Aftershock. On this video which covers Day 3 we woke up to find the frame cracked on Hideous. Because of this, we make a new friend, Jason from Verdi Nevada, who without hesitation cut a piece of steel off of his car trailer and welded up a patch on Hideous. Soon as the welds cooled off we headed for the local sand dunes where we tore it up making a bunch of passes up the hill. After stretching the legs of the IH 392 under the hood, we headed over to @HPTuners where they had a dyno set up. They strapped Hideous down and and put the pedal to the medal. How much horsepower did Hideous and the IH 392 with a @HolleyPerformance Sniper fuel injection system put out and with the @donaldsonfilters filter removed? Dude rad Video ! Loved seen Hideous on the Dyno, and interesting to see the air filter reduces HP by 11hp, but like you said worth it for UA alone !
I think 173 corn squeezins at the rear wheels is pretty respectable.
