I think everyones harsh on Myslf Edp, it smells better than YSL Y Edp, has better projection and lasts about the same 😅
Yes, check out Ferragamo Spicy Leather and that whole line. It seems to be slept on.
YSL Myslf EDP is probably my favorite all-time fragrance. Le Parfum is even more appealing, but less situational.
Yeah Ombre Noire is an easy blind buy for fragrance collectors. It smells very much like "Une Historie d'Homme Irresistible from Mauboussin " but more oriental.
It does smell a little mature but not oudated at all. Good way to get introduced to "niche" like fragrances.
For those who have ever been in a morrocan spice store, this will give you the impression you are swimming in one. There is some dry morrocan mint tea in the opening followed by a blend of every spice you could found in a bedouin's kitchen if they had one.

I think you would like spicy leather. Its quite a gentlemanly scent, not a huge projection but more subtle with a nice leather note. I purchased on notino recently for just over 40 pounds. It fluctuates in price often

I own LR black and I'm still not sure how I feel about it. Sometimes it's warm, powdery and aromatic and I can see the hype and other times I get stronger whiffs of that rubbery accord and I'm less fond of it. People need to get a sample and try it a few times before buying.

Just tossing this out there. The red bands are translucent red on the full presentation jpg elixirs. So you can see how much is left in them.
Reserve Privee does smell very different in the drydown.. it gets kinda powdery more than boozy like in the opening. I know Omar doesn't particularly like it but i personally prefer it to many iris scents like DHI.

The new l'homme ideal parfum smells very much like the l'homme ideal sport flanker.
ombre noire is really nice especially as it wafts in the air you get an amber warm spicy. Up close it has an indian cooking spice profile that's unique. the magic is in the air. not outdated, you should try it!
I like to buy kind of all season colognes. Some recommendations for all weather Mont Blanc Legend Red for a fresh kinda spicy scent & Armani code Parfum for a fresh floral woody scent.
Was pleasantly surprised by the new Myself Parfum, had to grab a bottle right away. Mind you I’m saying this as a fraghead collector with over 200 bottles in my collection.
Gentleman reserve privee is very unique.
Spicy leather is very good and you can get it for around $50.
Prada LR Black is the 2nd best Prada after LHI. Both of the black prada bottles have that uniqueness to go with their wearable quality. Both garner female attention.

I just rotated my spring/summer fragrances with my fall/winter. Buuut, I like to keep my faves on the shelf year round.
Ferragamo Intense Leather is also good 👍🏻
Personally I found Ferragamo Spicy Leather to be similar to Bentley for Men Intense in its scent profile. For me I found the Ferragamo to be more mass appealing than the Bentley.

I would describe the Lhomme Ideal Extreme more as a Lhomme ideal Parfume Intense. Not quite but similar. It's heavier, more dense and especially early on quite a bit different in the opening. I wouldn't say one is redundant, but for most people it would be.
I personally didn't like MYSFL edp either, and now thinking of it I believe you described it really well. That being said, I don't think MYSLF Le Parfum is that similar to the edp, but that's just my opinion. If I were you, though, I'd give it at least a chance as I found it quite appealing. Nothing mind-blowing but far better than the edp.
Yes, try ombre noir. Lalique is known for having high quality fragrances and crazy discounted prices. Longevity on some of their stuff isn't great though. I think jus de rose is a Lalique fan
Slight criticism here: when you’re reacting to these list videos and you haven’t smelled the actual fragrance, i don’t think there’s much value in talking about them when you’re just speculating about them and reading fragrantica. Anybody can do that. If there are a lot of fragrances you haven’t smelled personally in a list video, maybe don’t react to it? Also do the xerjoff buying guide already lol

L'Homme Ideal line user here. Best for me the 2024 parfum version (plum is sooooo delicious), followed by extreme (plum and smoke) then intense (chilli) and the last one, the edp (cherry). The edp is almost too sweet for me. Definitely not a blind buy.

Skipped MYSLF EDP for Le Parfum and so glad I did. More interesting scent and lasts way longer on me than the OG. I'm interested in Scandal Absolu but I hear about performance issues. Could it be anosmia?

Ombre Noire is not sweet at all, so it doesn't compare well to Angels share. I sold mine. I thought it leaned too far into the spice cabinet with more savory spices like curry. I thought it smelled like a more intense SJP Stash, if you are familiar with that one.
Can you review Bvlgari Man in Black ? I think MIB is one of the underrated designer fragrances
It smells delicious but its performance is mediocre and it’s expensive, that’s why I don’t buy it personaly, I think it’s the same reason for the others

I think now one should sample both extreme and the new parfum, before pulling the trigger on either purchase.
People please just cut back on watching UA-cam reviewers it’s same old crap time and time again, every fragrance isn’t perfect every fragrance has pro’s and cons and no women will ever fall for you because of a fragrance that’s embarrassing to think that , most reviewers are getting free bottles and them reviewers make it sound like it’s the best fragrance ever so you rush out and buy it , and most importantly you don’t need 10 , 50 , 100 bottles of fragrances it’s just waste of money and leads to addiction

Ahh the old school trope (or trip up)…ageism is all this is. Just sample and see - there’s a world of wonderful scents out there that don’t rely on iso E Super and/or Ambroxan or “sweetness” to make them modern.

I don’t believe in seasonal fragrances excluding fragrances that have a dense leather smell in or if they are extremely warm like a dense amber smell. I am a beginner collector so I only have 19 fragrances. I will most likely stop at around 50-100.
You are around you more than anyone else, so just wear what smells good to you.
Hey Omar, how about a list of fragrances that people give the most 10/10 ratings to, don't count any 8s or 9s or anything else. So YSL Y wouldnt make the list.

I hate when they put amber & musk in the base notes when it's definitely ambroxan. Ambroxan is polarizing enough and its presence should be stated. We have the right to know.

Omar, the lalique one is not worth it at all, it's an annoying cinnamon bomb only. I don't know how anyone can like it. It's not as nice as encre noir or the extreme or the sport versions in terms of craft and quality... at all. Don't waste your money, you're not missing anything good.
