There are a couple of things I changed in this kit, one of them is I used a different wallpaper and only made 1 window. There are many other things I customized, make sure to watch the whole video.
This dollhouse kit is too small for my Nendoroid and Cu-poche, but it's a lovely home for tiny Yotsuba figures. More photos here: kixkillradio.com/2017/06/03/y...
Note: The dollhouse kit's manual doesn't have English translation so I purely relied on the picture diagram.

I don't even make these but I could not miss the cuteness
I just bought this kit ......so am waiting to do it ....made extra photo copies of the cut out paper sheets ....because sometimes if i make a mistake during the cutting or gluing...i have another copy to work from ....yes it does cost a bit more in money ....but its worth it when you spend hours making a dollhouse..i use embroidery scissors ...to cut because they can get into the tiny areas ....and purchased extra LED lights just in case the ones included in the kit dont work ...you can also get the black battery box at the dollar store i buy a small set of christmas lights ....and cut of the strand of lights ...and there you have the black battery box ...in case the one doesnt work in your kit ..then just attach the LED lights and it works perfectly .... i also purchased a soldering iron to solder the LED wires ...because i dont like using those messy white adhesive strips to wrap and attach the wires .....it works really well. Plus soldering the LED wires gives it a better finish .....plus buy some colored felt pens they come in useful ...because sometimes when you fold a few of those cut out papers ...you sometimes get a white fold line .....so color in that white fold line with the corresponding colored felt pen...it gives a way better result ... i dont like alot of messy exposed LED wires in the kit .....so i try to figure out the best way to hide them by cutting a channel under the base of the house and feed the wires thru underneath ...that way the house looks so much better than seeing the messy exposed white wire trail of the LEDs ..... so that thats just some of the hints that i do ...to make a better house ...yes it takes more time....but its worth it in the long run ...the thing is that when you make these dollhouses ...you cannot hurry ...you get a better dollhouse when you plan and take your time
That is true. It's always best to build this dollhouses not in a hurry, enjoying every process.
@@Kixkillradio i forgot to say that i also dig channels thru the wood walls and base and feed the LED wires thru it ...then apply the wall paper ...but you do it carefully that way you hide some of those messy wires ...i dont like seeing too many exposed led wires ...so it was a bit extra work to plan around that ....but it turned out better .....there is a tool you can buy ...it is called a ... electric dremel tool ..often there are a bunch of attachments that come with it ...you can do sanding, drilling ,and cutting of the wood ....cost is around $30 so its relarively inexpensive .....another tool i have is a soldering tool ....it melts the LED wires together ....providing a better bond with the battery box ..you will have to do some sample wires and use flux ..... to practise at first plus there are lots of videos to teach you how to do it .....the soldering iron is inexpensive ...a good place to get it is on aliexpress ......have you encountered any kit errors ...i have ....right now .....i am rewiring ...princess cottage dollhouse.....the wiring was a mess in this kit but its so cute .....i also got the dollhouse ....rose garden tea house .....its very complicated and there are alot of bitty parts in it ...you should take a look ....its so so pretty .....am looking forward to making up this kit that you demonstrated ......got the color photocopies done of the cut out paper sheets .....so will be starting it soon in about a week or two....say well thanks for this video

I bought this kit(or one almost exactly the same) at Hobby lobby. But I was very disappointed in the quality. Did yours come with the adhesive floor and wallpaper? Mine was a very glossy piece of paper you cut and glue. The furniture in mine was so much smaller than I expected. Anyone else experience this? But still thank you for making this video! It is very helpful seeing how you do the furniture since the kits instructions aren't very detailed. Yours looks so cute! I hope mine comes out cute too.
Hi! I am sorry you felt that way. It always comes with just glossy paper. Since I don't like using it, I bought adhesive floor and wallpapers and use them in my builds.
The scale of HL's is half scale which is why so small. I currently have the exact same kit. I despised the wall paper and have painted the walls instead. I picked this kit due to the piano, but by the time I finish it's going to look pretty different. I'm glad I stumbled across this video though.

How did you assemble the wall light? It says to widen the hole on the gold piece. How did you do it without breaking it?
Nevermind, I figured it out…just used a drill with a bit the size of the hole I wanted☺️

Reyna Jauregui it's a bit hard at first. there are tiny parts so you have to be careful not to lose them. Try to make the furniture first just like I did. for example, i looked for the bedframe parts in the plastic bag and separate it from the rest. I glue them after finding all the parts first.

What kind of glue do you recommend using when gluing wooden pieces together?

Animalxingaddict I think the glue came with the kit, but I might use hot glue gun for the wooden peice, but the white glue that came with it work just find, and yea, you could use wood glue if u like

Looking for dollhouse kits that are perfect for regular Nendoroid size is a hit or miss. But the Sushi bar and Kitchen that I previously uploaded in my channel seem to work with them. Most of my food are 1/12 luckily they are perfect. Some Re-ment food and miniature also work well with them. :) Have a great week!

It's hard to tell when you're looking at the site, I thought this dollhouse is big enough for them but to my surprise, it's really small. So it's a hit or miss. From what I've built so far, I think the Sushi restaurant and Kitchen with led lights will work on Nendoroid
