1918 Steinway Model O

- This piano was at the heart of a single family's musical life for multiple generations. The last guardian had it lovingly restored at this address by Mosaic Piano Service in 2012. At that time, the original soundboard was rejuvenated with marine-grade epoxy, the pinblock replaced, and the piano restrung. The action was completely rebuilt as well. Warmth, sustain, and color abound in this highly-refined Steinway from one of their best eras.
I have the exact same model, only 1923. The Model O size is perfect for playing in a living room. I had Steinway restore it in 2016. They offered to redo the fall board logo with the same original design; I had them replace it with their current style logo and that looks great.
Lovely. It reminds me very much of my 1930 Steinway M that was tragically lost in a natural disaster last year. I had just restrung it, too. The sweet tone of these golden age pianos with their original soundboards can't be taken for granted.

I'm not particularly big fan of Steinways, but this one sounds... Beyond any expression. A very nice one, indeed. I've worked with one of these made in 1924, all original and also great. After that I started thinking that it would be nice to have this model for myself, if I ever have an opportunity to, and after this video I'm almost absolutely sure!) Also, really like your interpretation of "Reverie"!

It's beautiful -- sounds almost identical to my Steinway L.
sounds great, the voicing is very convincing. If you bleach the keys with h2o2 in sunlight for two hours and polish them they will look as new. the fallboard logo looks a bit strange (far too little).

Wow, I put on my good headphones to soak up the tonal depth of this beauty. We bought a 1926 Model M that was similarly restored - keeping the plate in its original condition and without a full sanding and re-varnishing of the case. The tonal quality is quite similar to this one. I like the aged look that you kept for this piano. It is a gorgeous instrument. I'm curious what you priced it at.
