Meanwhile, up the coast at Blyth in Northumberland, the old Half Moon Inn at South Beach was demolished. It was a very old Inn that had a very special mixed history. The bar area was floored with black marble slabs laid over a sand base. The walls were Queen Anne bricks. The bricks alone were worth over 50p each. The whole lot was scrapped!!
I'm disappointed I never got to see inside the building. When I was a child it was briefly the nightclub then boarded up ever since. Hopefully these will be restored, kept in Hartlepool, and repurposed.
Love it!
Me too!

It really angers me that things like this are allowed to happen
At least they listened to pulic opinion and tried their best to recover them. Good choice of music.
Yeah they did a canny job.
Thanks for watching ☺️
Thanks Mick its good to see they are taking care , they weren't designed to be taken down I guess
They’re a lot thicker than I thought they were though.

I’m sure there’s a video on UA-cam of the inside.

Superb video, guess when they put them up them up the panels were fitted by skilled installers. Looks like they were taken down by Irish navies lol
Thank you ☺️

It cracked in the fire I’m afraid.
