Finally, a video that we can all watch how the tarnish goes away
I used baking soda and it actually worked! Thank you, this was so helpful! My jewellery looks brand new now! :)
Does it work with baking powder?
Shaiekha Aldossary pretty sure they’re the same thing.
@@lazicepie7800 no they're different you use baking powder for cakes and stuff
Thanks
Pls can one use it on gold colour?
It does work, I tried it with baking soda which I had in my pantry! So happy now that i know i won't have to throw away my favourite jewellery. Thanks a lot
Yay! You're welcome :)
Does it boil the whole time?
It doesn't work for me with baking soda
Can I use it on silver plated jewellery
OMG! Thanks!!! My earrings are sparkling!!!And so is my necklace! The necklace is20years old and was black!!!
Yay, so glad it worked f
or you!
omg this saved my jewelry, thank you! I am in shock at how well this worked!
Thank you so much for this tutorial! I tried a few other suggestions, but yours worked wonderfully. Blessings to you.😊
What you have done is homemade electrolysis and have have coated your jewellery with aluminum. But you can use washing soda or regular baking with hot water to clean them as well and not have them coated with another metal. Don't use this method for tarnish gold.
What can you use for tarnished gold
@@jackieword8027 just wash with hot water and dish soap. Then get a soft brush with baking soda, place your jewellery on a towel(you don't want them slipping into the drain) and brush them. All the stuff should come off, then wash and polish with a dry cloth.
Thanks for the info, that's actually kind of cool
Thank you posting this. It made my Brighton jewelry look brand new. Thank you
I'm hoping this works. I was gifted a tiara by my parents about six or seven years ago and it's very badly tarnished now, and it used to be so beautiful and sparkly. I want to bring it back to it's original shine so I can wear it for a party.
How? Did It work?
did it work?
@@kimmie8042 it did! Good as new thank God!
@@DarthYall just how badly was it tarnished? I have a ring almost broze now and used to be silver ... Will that go away too?
@@kishwerjabeen3621 I'm not sure. The tiara has a lot of beading held in place by wire and small metal flowers. It was really brown just around the wire and the flower petals. It's back to silver now but idk how well it would work on something super dark. But it's always worth a shot you know!
Easy fast and great results .straight to the point.thank you
I know I’m a few years late to this video but I’m so glad it was here when I needed it! Worked great on my fiancé’s engagement ring! Thank you so much!
Hello did the ring have some sort of diamond real or fake and if it did, did it affect or change the color of the diamond.
@@rosales6115 It is a three one carat diamond design on the ring. It made the diamonds pop as well! It looked great!
I just cleaned a costume necklace that I got at a second hand shop. It worked like a charm! (Sickening the crud that came off of it though :< Glad I hadn't worn it yet...)
Yikes! Definitely good thing you cleaned it :)
Thanks
Wow, it worked for me. Cleaned my wedding band, and 2 tarnished chains. Thanks!!
This totally worked, so quick and easy! Thank you so much for sharing!
Thank you so much! My silver locket means so much to me and I took it in the pool with me for 3 days at swimming camp and it got discolored and I didn’t know what to do. Thank you so much. It looks so shiny and beautiful
That's great to hear! xx
OHHHHHH EMMMMM GEEEEEEE !! Works like magic, it doesn't take so long, it's just for a while. And I'm loving it :)
Yay! So glad you're loving it :)
omg this worked perfectly!! My necklaces look brand new!

Omg thank you!!! This worked amazing I thought I wasn’t going to get the tarnish off!!!
😇😇😇😇🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩😍
Yes, this worked for me on my metal jewellery (non-precious)! Very helpful, thank you!
Wow this really works, I tried it! Thank You so much!
Thank you for your video! I ruined my rings doing something with chemicals. I forgot to take them off but because of sentimental value I wouldn’t throw my rings away I just put them away instead. I came across them today while looking for something else and said to myself there has to be a way to restore these. They are sterling silver! Found this video and it didn’t even take 5 minutes and they are back to norm! Thank youuuuu!
It really does work I did mine tonight and they came clean thank you.
Awesome! Will be trying!! Thanks much!
Thank you. That's fantastic. Cleaned a bracelet. Very impressed. Cheers
Clean jewelry and a cool science project…now that’s something I can get behind
Omg a miracle ! It worked, thank you!
I just tried this with my Brighton necklace and it worked perfectly. Thank You!
I used this trick on some badly tarnished silver-ish napkin rings. It took a few dips to get all the yellow tarnish off but it worked! I could see the tarnish peeling off the metal as I was wiping the rings! Crazy!
So exited to try this later on one of my favorite necklaces will update later!
Highly underrated video.. Thank you :)
This is amazing! Imma try it later w my earings hope it works
Awesome! Thank you Madi❤️
I will try this! Thank you so much!
Thank you so much for making this quick informative video, and for showing the jewelry so well before and after. (And for not saying “um” every other word🙂)

I have some Michael Kors silver earrings my husband bought me as a Christmas gift. He passed last year & it was the last thing he bought me they have started tarnishing & I didn’t want to throw them away. Thanks for sharing!
This worked super well thank you
Am gonna try this now now now, thanks so much😍😍
This video was Very helpful! Thank you!!!
You're welcome :)
Can't wait to try this after work today.
I tried it and it actually worked! My jewelry looks new again!! Thank you!
Can't wait to try this. I have a huge amount of costume jewelry and cheap rings and was about to throw them away so now I can clean them and I also found a way to keep them from getting that way again by spraying Krylon ultra clear gloss spray. 👍😊👍
does it work with fake rings which turned almost brown or rose red?
@@davidedwinhermann2465 actually I did it a few hours ago but at first I used cheap Toothpaste and didn't work so I used crest with peroxide and baking soda Toothpaste with a Toothbrush and rubbed it on and scrubbed it. It worked on almost all of mine. After it dries, I'm using the Krylon crystal clear gloss spray so it won't turn. It saved me from trashing over 20 necklaces and 6 pair of earrings. It worked on fake silver too as well as the gold colored ones.
Hello, does this work on gold plated jewelries?
It works thank you so much for teaching me this remedy ❤️❤️
So glad you've found it helpful xx
Holy cow?! It cleaned my necklace in seconds!! Finally a video that works
So glad it worked for you!
Mandi Makes hey! would it work a yellow gold pendant?
@@kassxv01 I know this is old but it should work w gold too
Vert interesting and look so nice and new... thanks for the idea
I have a sterling silver ring with a CZ stone that is starting to turn a brassy shade on the underside of the band. Will this work to take the brassy tone out of it? And I read somewhere not to soak the ring, because it will loosen the glue holding the stone in the setting...
Yes it worked. Thanks for the info. My tarnish remover works better and faster. But ur method is safer and cheaper and works almost as well. A little more work and more mess and a longer time. But it does work. Thanks.
Thanks, worked well!
Yay!!!! It Worked!!!! Thank you
This worked okayish to clean some of the tarnish off my bronze jewelry (which I'd already scrubbed with toothpaste) but I put in a piece of sterling silver at the last minute and that one did turn out nice. The bronze ring had made my finger turn green before, hence why I'm trying to find cleaning methods. After using this method a couple times in a row, it did get off some of the black spots but not 100%. I did wind up getting some old UV-activated resin and coating it on the ring as a possibly more permanent version of the nail polish trick. If I wear jewelry I don't usually take it off so I'll have to see if it stays put. Thanks for the video!
It only works with silver as it coats the jewelry with aluminum.
trueliness ! ✨
It worked, thanks!
I did this with a sterling silver locket it worked pretty well
Thank you for this Natural remedy
so happy I found this video..

Thank you for the video it really helped me alot.
so i have this louis vitton bag that has stains on the metal plate and i cant find anywhere that has a solution, if you could possible give a tip or two on how to remove it, it would make my week. thank you
I can hardly wait to try this! Thank you for a quick but very helpful info & guide😀
Glad you found it helpful!!! xx
I prefer this method over Polish cloth or using toothpaste and brushing. It helps clean between creases for intricate designed jewellery.
is it work with discolored fake silver jewellery as well?
Bogi Berki yes
It didn't work for me
Elentiya it made the stones on charm of my Alex & ani bracelet fall out that weren’t prong set so be careful
@@cherriberri7161 yea I had some nail polish on my ring to make it fit properly but when I tried this method it shrank the nail polish so I'm not suprised it would disolve glue.
It's really trueee I did it I did work my chain is shining like new
That's what's up!! Great job..thanks
:)
SOOOOOOOO HELPFUL GONNA DO THIS TO ALL OF MY JEWLERY NOW
Yay, glad you found it helpful!!

Probably! You should try it
Hello thank you so much for sharing! Just wondering is it okay to clean sterling silver rings with gemstones ( pink quartz, aquamarine) using this method? Best
Excellent!
Tq.. It's really helpful..
Wow gotta try this thanks a bunch
You're welcome :)
Thank you. My husband has bought me many pieces of silver jewellery, but, over the years it has become badly tarnished. I'm hopeful this method works.
Hey! What about jewellery with sparkles? Will it stay fine?:)
I just bought a brand new charm bracelet from Amazon it’s so pretty but it’s already started to tarnish I find it especially hard to keep metal jewelry looking new in the summer time bc of sweat. I am going to give this a try I hope it works I would never have thought to use water as water is what causes the bracelet to tarnish 😅
I’m trying it and I’ll let you know if it works
Wooow this worked thx a lot x
Can i use use this method to remove spray paint from costume jewelry as well
I really don’t understand why someone would give thumbs down for this video. That’s crazy. I am going to try this method on some of my tarnished jewelry. Thank you.
Thank you soo much
Thannnkk Youuu ❤
I appreciate YOU!
Thank you ma'am!
