3D printed items are NOT food safe, people. Banana cutter, popsicle mold, utensil rest, funnel, cookie cutter, etc. All bad ideas unless using once and discarding.
Calm down my friend, this is just a video showing some ideas of things that can be 3D printed. Yes, there are filaments that are not recommended for culinary purposes, such as ABS, which is derived from petroleum, for example. There are also filaments that can be used for specific purposes without any problems, the so-called "Food Safe" ones. Anyway, I appreciate your participation. I know that your comment had a good intention. 🙏🏻
@@mrkennedy3d Sorry. It's just 3D printing + food is putting out bad information. It's not about the filament type, it's about the texture of 3D printing where bacteria will grow in the layer lines when food gets stuck in there. A little disclaimer about safe food use would be a good idea ;). You would need to give your prints a coating of epoxy or something to be considered food safe. You can probably get away with 2-3 uses within a week, but then I wouldn't trust it.
