You made the right decision, that sky was menacing, better to be safe than sorry, the views though were stunning! Glad to see the Christmas present from your room mate was useful.
I plan on studying Irish in Donegal next time. Also, where my favorite session is! Loved seeing Mt. Errigal when we drove by it. Hopefully, I can climb it sometime. I've climbed Knocknarea and was rescued by a farmer. Lol :)
@@TheWanderingIrishman No, it wasn’t! We were stupid though and it was getting dark on the way down. We started too late. Loved that farmer who gave me a lift in his tractor. 😆
Thanks! It was hail stones, the hurty ones haha but yeah, the views made it worth it. Pity I didn't reach the top but I made the right choice. As Arnie said, "I'll be back!" 😊
Good call 👌 Errigal is a very narrow and exposed summit. It is definitely not a safe place to be in a storm. The path gives too many people a false sense of security. I was very lucky to get decent weather for a sunrise summit on New Year's Day. It's on my channel if you want to see what you missed 😊

Yeah amazing views, I don't regret turning back, the conditions were just getting too bad. Always go with the gut.

Sligo people are so good like that, fair play to him @@fionahowellwrites5302 😃
Love the cinematography in this one 😍
Cheers guys, I've been following your travels too. Keep up the good work!
@TheWanderingIrishman Thank you, it's nice that there's a little community of us on here starting to emerge on here! ☺️
@touringaroundwithrosie indeed, I try to promote Irish UA-camrs as much as I can. We are a force to be reckoned with 💪 😊

Fine job, David! I feel your pain after my own shortened trip up Errigal! But the views were fabulous, and was that sleet? You got farther than I did!
