  • The Tale of Beatrix Potter Part 1. Originally recorded from PBS station KQED, Channel 9, San Francisco, California.
The beginning of the video seems to have been cut off on my source. I apologize.
Digitized from a Q.B.T. T-120 VHS Video Cassette.
If you love the 80s, give this a thumbs up!

I loved this programme when it was first aired in the 80's and it has lost none of its charm. Thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to view it again!

Finally, I've watched this marvellous TV film! Thank you so much for sharing this first-rate story shown in the 80's. They should show this programme in BBC Entertainment Asia because I know that there are a large number of Beatrix Potter fans in Asia!

I recorded this on video when it was on TV in the 80's. Unfortunately a family member used the tape to record the golf. I was so upset, but finally found it here! Thank you so much. I am always searching for a copy on DVD, to no avail. It beats the Rene Zielweger one hands down. Thankyou again.

Quick question:- where do the terms 'puddleduck', 'cottontail', etc originate? You'll find that her 'genius' was in plagiarising folktales from the Black slave experience in the old American South.
Has this been publicly acknowledged and credited by the Potter society and avid readers.
