Paint Fabric Scraps to Create a Forest

In a recent livestream I started creating a background cloth so that I could stitch on it. I grabbed my scraps of browns and rusts and lace and then, the paint! Now I have a fabulous piece of background fabric to stitch upon. I have visions of a forest as seen from overhead.

It's coming along beautifully Susan! That is a good idea to use cheese cloth to wipe up the paint and then that matches your piece and you can include some if you decide to. TFS!
