This documentary was initially released with a raffle called The G.R.O.A.T. (Greatest Raffle Of All Time) where we gave away WILD prizes (Super Bowl tickets, World Series Tickets, a day job shadowing Nick Maraldo, ect.) and was priced at $3.33 or $5 depending when the purchase was made. Now, we wanted to give it to you guys as a gift for the New Year and showing us so much support last year.

@@NickSchiff5 There is 162 games a season in baseball (MLB) sometimes teams play back to back games for 14 - 16 days with no days off, doesn't leave a lot of time for working out. They are in some shape but their schedule doesn't leave them much time to hit the weight room, pitchers have more time than your position players. They don't even really practice like most people expect, they "practice" during Spring Training and during batting practice before games, it's not like football where they all get out on the field and run through practice with the coach.
savethechicken I mean i get they dont have a lot of time but outside of a few key players i definitely feel like as a professional athlete should have the ability to hit the gym after a baseball game kinda sounds like im a hater but you dont run much at all

When I first tried softball because I decided to stay at school instead of heading out to learn to play pool, I hadn't even decided if I'm batting left or right handed, coming from playing indoor cricket. But the next week, they put me at RF. Worst idea ever. I was a better 2B. I'm left-handed, but I've no arm strength to play at SS, forturnately, the shift is always on, so I have less to cover.

I just turned 40 , I'm watching this laughing historically over my moms an she comes in the room starts laughing with me. I played baseball my whole life growing up. Pat probably played right field because right fielders are generally not great fielders but they are supposed to have one of the best arms on the team and Pat is really good at throwing the pig skin around so it makes sense to put him out there and honestly he has a really good natural swing considering the fact that he’s never picked up a bat before he played

Pats parents didn’t let him do anything but soccer. lol and look how that turned out. I went to plum high school with Pat and he never played football til like 12th grade. He kicked a goal in gym class like 50 yards and the football coach was one of the gym teachers. He begged his parents to let him join the team and he did. Crazy how life works.
