Very nice and so tastefully done too, almost understated. I was quite surprised it didn't appear to have a front metal bar, and yet still managed to fit a winch.

First time drivers of these SWB 4WD's hit the roads in one of these in the wet they end up rolling them or aquaplaning it into a pole... They're not what I would consider a novice / naive drivers car at all.
Young drivers, dont have much money....this version would cost like 25-30k €

I am eager to have it in my garage .... and for it I have learned to drive at my 48th year .... for 11 yrs I was waiting for its appearance.... I am lucky enough that I may be getting the chance to see it and drive it ..... I am a Shrirampurian and my nearest showroom is Bangihati, Shririmpur, Hooghly.

(to homologate all modifications such as raising the Jimny with higher shock absorbers and suspension and higher tires and heavy duty front and rear bumpers and the winch and snorkel the air filter extension! and all the various modifications!

I have this exact model, down to the colour. I would love to have these mods available, especially the bumper/winch, and the hinged spare tyre/fuel can holder/rear bumper.
If anyone has any details I'd really Apreciate a source or list of mods.

Why not in the U.S.A.??? I had (3) little Samurais back in the 80's, they were fabulous for mini-4x4's and cheap to keep!
Jim Scofield U.S. market is waaay diferent than European, you like big engines (diesel mostly) and big truck....here in europe we have small engines, and small cars, mostly...theyre not heavy and not diesel.....check out those on enthernet....

Simon Cowell I will gues, if you doo everything by yourself.....car brand new is €17-18 thousand, the tires are minimaly 600€, suspension i dont know but i gues 2000€, roof rack (i dont know the price), snorkel 300€...Lets just say €25 thousand, my friend and his dad bought a used one for 2500€ and they dropped abouth 2500-3000€ in it, they repaired all the body issues by themselves, they bought higher suspension, mud tires, a snorkel....and i think thats about it...so think about it....you buy a used one (15yrs old) with 120-170 thousand kilometres in the clock and you put another 3000-4000€ in the car and you have a off road beast...dont worry about the engine, its very good one and used one to replace them are cheap...my neighbour paid 300€ for a replacement engine on his Vitara 1.6 8V

This is the only new vehicle out there that I would buy, but unfortunately Suzuki has pulled out of the United States :-(. I wish there was a chance that we could get rebadged versions from another auto maker ( like Chevrolet sold Suzukis under the Geo badge) but I guess that's highly unlikely.
Yeah. Jimny got a bad rap from American critiques who compared its on-road capabilities to sedans (still laughing those 0-60 comparison videos. It's a 1.3 offroader for god's sakes) and its off-road capabilities with high-end full sized off-roaders. Sad really.
Well. It seems they want to introduce it back to the States under Toyota's. Looks like that is what is coming for the 2019 model, the new generation one.
Don't worry it's coming there under Toyota badge, may be sooner than you might anticipate.

Yes, suspension & body lift but where do you see the tires are 30's? I think they are 235/70R16, which converts to 29in

Ich komme nach meinen Berechnungen eher auf etwa 25000€. Das ist der Extreme 3-Ausbau von Gollek. Kostet 10000€. MIt dem Grunpreis vom Jimny (etwa 15000€) wären das dann 25000€. Wo hast du die Zahlen her?
Ihr müsst auch das berechnen was man nicht sieht !
100% Sperren, eventuell kürzer übersetze Achsen oder VTG, längere Bremsschläuche, längere Kontrollarme, Lenkungskomponenten, Kardanwellen usw. je nach Lift Kit muss da viel angepasst werden 🤑
Kann gut sein das da nochmals 10-20‘000 investiert wurden 😁
