  • In this video, we visit KTC (Kyoto Tool Company) in Kyoto, Japan where we get a chance to take a look at some of the high quality tools that this company is making. We came to KTC to check out the Nepros line of tools because of their incredibly high quality feel and performance. The Nepros screwdrivers are so well made that we had to check them out and learn about what makes them so great.
While at KTC we did a full factory tour and walk through their museum. Unfortunately, these parts could not be filmed. What you will see in this video is a summary of some of the interesting things we learned about what makes KTC and the Nepros line up of tools so great. KTC spends a lot of time focusing on the customer and the professional. This shows in the details that explain in this video. There was a lot of Research & Development going into all their tools, however, we decided to showcase only some of the more interesting tools that we saw throughout the tour and museum.
What amazed us is that KTC makes most of their tools in Kyoto, Japan from forging all the way through finishing and inspection. This is pretty rare for a tool company to keep most of these processes in house. This aspect is important to KTC to maintain the high level of quality that their customers request.

Very happy you went here. I will next time I'm in Japan it's only up the road from Australia. I have a nice selection of KTC Nepros tools been collecting the Nepros for several years now and just love the quality of these tools. Happy you held the screwdriver as they are my next purchase.
Being a diesel tech, I don't use them at work only at home tinkering with my motorbikes.

Your channel is fantastic. I especially enjoy the jobsite videos, watching true mastery displayed by your crew members and your humility and genuine care for the art is refreshing. Love the details and in depth discussions, especially watching the joints built offsite. Mesmerizing. Take care and keep the content coming my friend!

Fuller tools out of queens NYC had KTC manufacturer their wrenches and sockets in the 1970s. Really good quality for export tools when Asia was pumping out low quality tools during the 60s to 80s.

I have a KTC Kyoto Tool offset wrench, so far so good nothing is broken, even though many other brands break quickly. At first I thought this brand would not last long, seeing how light it is, unlike other brands which are heavier but wear out quickly
