What could be causing the low frequency hum I'm hearing 24x7 coming from my neighbors farm? They recently purchased a new milking system and the hum started then.
The robot breaking down is not the issue. Getting enough cows to voluntarily come into the shed looking for the grain without starving them is the problem. Just last week my wife and I went for interview as milking couple and there were 6 robots standing in long grass in paddock. He lost 1 million on the installation of 6. In a deal to silence him and return some of the money lost he had to sign an agreement. He cannot legal even talk about them.
Wow, this is realy cool. I bet in the near future lots of people will use Lely

So what milking system you suggest Dean?
It doesn’t work in a low input grazing system
