Let’s hope none of them are self respecting adults, because I’d expect only children to be that intolerant and willing to launch into anger at such a trivial thing. But regardless, I guess I’ve seemingly done the wrong thing by using the comment section to write a comment. So read below to see the original comment I guess ORIGINAL COMMENT: I think I'm the only person to never understand the hype. I like all women of all ethnicities & i'm not fussy over hairstyle either, so it's never been Halle's short hair that turns me off. But Halle's just the one celebrity who I've never felt attraction to really. Or at least not to the extent that everyone else does (eg in these comments, in the Flintstones & James Bond when they suggest she's super hot, even when Jay-Z calls Eric Benet a retard for cheating on her). But yeah I dont know why I don't like her. I was thinking it's because she looks slightly like my sister a bit maybe here in this video. But then I googled her with short hair and looking less like anyone I knew, and I still found her average. So my final guess is it's just that I grew up seeing her as Storm in X-Men so I was de-sensitised to her look. But even then there are plenty of other actors I saw growing up who I'd still call hot now. So idk what's wrong with me lol. I love plenty of woman, but I have Halle-immune syndrome. Lets be honest, it was probably the writer's fault for that movie.
Halle Berry wasn't the reason for that tragedy 🤷♂️
They wrote a shit movie and she was given a razzie for it. They should share the blame.
It's usually not an actors fault why a movie sucks
@@arsonfly The script was really bad. But the direction was even worse.
Not understanding a director speaking French or with a French accent is an excuse.
She has such a nice pair of eyes
It's so nice that not only Oscar, she even brought her Golden Globes with herself.
Chest eyes
I Love Her Smile!
This is one of my favorite speeches. 😂😂😂 Such a great sport about it, along with her manager and Alex.
when you want to feel offended because "catwoman" was your favorite movie when you were 8 - but then you grow up and recognize that razzie was kiiiiinda right X,D
I'm THE SAME DAMN WAY.
Watch Batman returns
I even went as Catwoman for Halloween that year 😂 omg the cringe
Lmaooo😂 it was my favorite movie as a kid and now I get why people don’t like it but I still love it because I love Halle Berry and I love Catwoman lol
Kemara Night exactly I loved Catwoman soooo much XD
She's got guts. You need to be brave to show yourself on that stage and accept the critism as she said. I admire her.
Its been a decade and its still the best Razzie Speech ever, Halle Barry is a legend.
This is the ultimate example of being a great sport 😂😂😂😂
it was cool how she brought her oscar up there. kind of an "in your face" to the critics who gave her the razzie in the first place. Go Halle!
i think it was more of a "yea i know this film was terrible." she pretty much knew she deserved the razzie, but i mean in a movie as bad as catwoman could you really blame her?
keely deloache Seems like a dickish move to me
+keely deloache
She was owning up to/having a good time with the fact that she was in a god awful movie. Halle Berry is great in general, but there's no "in your face" going on here. The movie was shit.
It was also because some critics said she should retroactively give it back as punishment for Catwoman. That's why she pointed at it and said, "I'm not giving this back, it's got my name on it!" lol
Halle has said this year 2018 that she doesn’t regret catwoman she admitted it was poorly executed but catwoman deserves another shot at a solo film
Say what you want, but she was the best part of the movie
seconded
+Sokka2Me her as "Catwoman" yes, as "patience" not so much.
Her talent was wasted in the movie but I agree to that.
that's not much of an achievement
this was the 2nd 666th like ive left today wtf is going on
I'd give 5 stars for her speech, that was so hilarious !! she's a great actress!!
I’ve never seen this!! She’s HILARIOUS!!!! From beginning to end!!!
She can laugh about herself...what a rare talent :-)
+C Th Her and Sandra just copied Natalie Wood who was the first actor/actress to show up to the Razzie's to accept the award.
+Mick Denis Your right but it was actually a Havard Lampoon's Society back in 1966, and yes she was the first to ever do so... until these gal followed suit. She was a great sport about it, when all other just sat in embarrassed silence.
And one should consider the time between Wood's acceptance 1966 and Berry's acceptance 2002. There was much crap to be had between the almost *3* decades but Berry (re)set the precedent. As for Bullock, she had NEVER taken herself too seriously so her accepting the Razzie is no surprise.
Nice touch coming in with her oscar award.
the two extremes
She took it so well and made it so funny!
She was there along with her agent and Alex Borstein. It seems she knew she was going to win.
Won a Razzie for Catwoman, should've won an Oscar for the acceptance speech.
Anybody willing to accept a Razzie in good fun is somebody worth respect.
Alex Borstein later won two Emmys.
When Halle won the academy I wasn't that interested but watching this acceptance speech made me instantly become a huge fan of hers
Being recognized to be the worst at something, and people being happy for it. Amazing.
called humor.and I think she did a good job of accepting it
😂😂😂😂
She's genius!
This is why I love her. This was hilarious and her sarcasm and cynicism was totally caught. She's a good sport because most actors and actresses don't even show up to receive their razzie.
it is not sarcasm, it is simply another marketing opportunity for her.
Omg 😆 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 “I also want to thank Pitof, the director.. I have no idea what the hell he was saying half the time.. which might show in my performance!” Cheeky brilliance
This is iconic 😂
this was great, I love when actors admit they made a piece of shit.
mike dixie rect If only John Travolta was that humble.
LOLOLOL !!!!
mike dixie rect yeah, except she blames everyone else for that
Ecne3D Well yeah. It goes along with the "thanking everyone involved" that occurs when an Oscar is received (Halle even mimicked her Oscar entry and acceptance). An Oscar speech is generally meant to seem humble, so it seems fitting for Halle to "thank" (blame) everyone for the well-deserved RAZZIE.
+mike dixie rect
your wrong, we don't criticise others, we encourage them.
Shit, Catwoman had more writers than Game of Thrones Season 8...
Funny thing, it was just as bad. What does it say about GoT writers?
@@AnzuBrief no I liked catwoman more it wasn't a big disappointment cuz I wasn't expecting much from the beginning, but got s8 took something special from me😢
Good life tip: the more writers a script has, the worse it usually is. (Implies corporate meddling.) Not always the case but 90% of the time I would wager.
Game of Thrones Season 8 had 2 idiots with their own imaginations to insult George R R Martin's storyline. Catwoman at least still enjoyable than The whole Season 8.
@@margarethmichelina5146 true, Dumb & Dumber ruined a masterpiece
absolute queen.
Shes so beautiful
greatest speech in the history of the razzies?
Wait for the speech of Kubrik !
If the primary goal of an entertainer is to entertain, then I'd say even in failure, Halle Berry succeeds.
She was so amazing for doing this... It took guts to stand up there and say all this. Love her
She is Hands down the Coolest Actors of all Time.
This is the best thing that came out from that movie.
This gives me physical pain I want to watch more Razzie speeches now
Matthew Greer saaaaaaaaame
Yup she was so good up there
Oh man.
She is hillarious.
Great sense of humour.
Top lady.
Great stuff Halle Berry .
👍👍
Good on her, proved she isn't a stuck up Hollywood celebrity, what a beautiful looking lady.
I swear, Halle Berry in her prime was one of the hottest women to have ever existed
Shes still fine as fuck
She is in her prime dude. Go see her on Hot Ones. She a goddess.

Warning! Don’t dare use the comment section to write a comment or an opinion. The basement dwelling neckbeards kick into action to say nobody cares, tell you to STFU, say you have something wrong with you, call you loser and project all the more negatively they have in their life because you won’t conform to the circlejerk with them 😫🔄✊💦 over their favourite celebrity. Let’s hope none of them are self respecting adults, because I’d expect only children to be that intolerant and willing to launch into anger at such a trivial thing. But regardless, I guess I’ve seemingly done the wrong thing by using the comment section to write a comment. So read below to see the original comment I guess
ORIGINAL COMMENT:
I think I'm the only person to never understand the hype.
ALSO EDIT:
I feel the same way about Jamie Lee Curtis. Wonder if the keyboard warriors will come at me for that as well
@@firstnamelastname364 Who cares?
Orbitron especially with her long wavy hair
As an actress this was the most heroic thing EVER
Love this acceptance speech such a classic.
Now that takes an equal amount of balls and class to do what she did :-) a truly iconic moment Bravo
