- Explore southern New Zealand in a journey from the dry highlands of canterbury to the lush rainforests of the westcoast and the rugged coastlines of the south to the highest peaks of the southern Alps. Captured in incredibly detailed 8K resolution and mastered at 60fps this video is aimed to bring you as close to the scenery as being just on location.

Within the production-time of 16weeks, 185000 photos have been taken, 8TB of raw-material shot, over 220 hours of time captured, 8000km driven and over 1000 hours have been spent for post-production.

Sublime. Love your use of reflections to catch the night sky 3 mins in.
You uniquely and brilliantly manage to picture places and situations the way they actually look like. Most videos and photos of sunsets or landscapes look allright and nice, but they miss the true colors and the feelings and impressions that the viewer really experiences in that particular moment. Especially the colors of clouds that are exposed to sunlight during sunrise look incredibly real. I have never seen fotage before that succesfully reproduces the original pictures that well! Congratulations and my respect to you!

i don't know why but the glowworms mirroring the night sky at the end brought a tear to my eye. It was such a poetic and beautiful way to end the video. You perfectly captured New Zealand's raw natural beauty.

edit: the best representation of literally my home I have ever seen. 4:28 is in my hometown on the west coast. The reason that's so special to me is that it is separated by 100km of windy roads and it has a population of 500, so seeing someone actually *here* is really special.

@00:45 through about a minute, you can see chunks of the snow tumble down. Given the time lapse, it seems as if chunks of the snow simply disappear from the landscape with a quick wisp of a "snowfall". Pretty cool.
As a beginner you are definitly one of my favorites to watch and thinking about new ideas I'm capable of doing
