Rashford criticism is fine on its own, but right now, which player *currently* at the club do you replace him with? We focus on him not tracking back, yet I've seen quite a few fans say Hojlund is "too busy wrestling defenders" and Amorim himself said that Zirkzee isn't arriving in the box quickly enough, which can be said of Hojlund too, but either way, neither look like scoring, and most likely neither would have been in the box for Amad's cross. Garnacho's decision making is poor (fluffed 2 good 1v1s) and for someone who has 3 times the amount of shots Rashford has had in the league (33 vs 11), you'd think there'd be more than a 1 goal difference between the two. If it's because Rashford's older, we are the club of "if you're good enough, you're old enough" and once Amorim's had time to figure out his team (yesterday's was based on who trained with him the most after internationals), if he's still on the teamsheet, then that's because nobody else was good enough to displace him. Once we as a team can be more clinical, then we can start thinking about work rate and who tracks back (as a #9, whose job is to... score?), but until we can stop relying on Onana's heroics to get us through games, then we have no right to pin our current woes on one player when the fact is that because NOBODY can score, we're 12th.
The PSG thing is a media and fan delusion. PSG is a club that can pay for Rashford, but Madrid, Barca, and Bayern are too big. But he can't go to Tottenham or even other Premier League clubs cause fans don't want that either. If I was Rashford I would go to another premier league club.
