This video review is pure class. No bombastic music, to quick scene changes, no stupid script. Other reviewers could learn from this. Anyway, this is an awesome car!
just bought a mks 09 awd and I love it.
My dad has the 2014 lincoln mks and it is the smoothest ride ever it feels like I am driving a clould. I love this car
Thanks for this video I just bought one and I love it so far!
Beautiful Lincoln! I love the high quality material they're putting in their cars now. American luxury has really improved lately.
Another great POV vid!
just bought 1 today . ecstatic
Been watching this since you put it out... now ours is in the driveway! Same color combo & options. I'll do an L.A. version of this for you on Mulholland Drive or aroud Beverly Hills.
I have the same car in South El Monte Calif.
Yes, it does
Awesome car and review. Handles well for a large sedan and responsive, seems like moderate body roll, but difficult to tell.
excellent video!
I've got the 2010 model, first year for Ecoboost, and I absolutely love it! I drive for Uber and I get endless compliments! People always say they think it's newer than it is lol.
how many miles are on it?
@@koby90287 Now it's up to 140k. Thanks to this pandemic I decided to stop Ubering, and by the time I'm comfortable enough to Uber again the car will be too old to qualify. Still love the car though!
MAN_ON_WHEELZ okay I’m thinking about getting one with 120k miles, is it worth spending?
@@koby90287 Totally up to you after I tell you what I've learned and what the Facebook group has taught me. Key issues these cars have and need to be aware of. Specifically talking about the 3.5L Ecoboost. The water pump is inside the front engine cover so when it fails, VERY expensive job, and it'd be nice to know if it's been changed already at 120k cause if not, that could be just around the corner. Also the PTU, the 3.5L is AWD so it has one. They tend to fail in various ways around that mileage. Mine leaked fluid onto my exhaust and it's non-serviceable so that cost me $2,200 to replace. I also hear it's very wise to regularly flush trans fluid and coolant on these, so if you can find out the service history of that, that would be great. Also the turbos may be failing at this time in one way or another. Mine are simply leaking a little oil, one externally and the other internally, but nothing major enough to worry yet. If you have the newer model, the group has been having frequent complaints of their center control stack, specifically the radio and HVAC controls malfunctioning from time to time in various different ways. I don't hear it so much with the older generation. Otherwise, pretty solid car. It's one of those "If you take care of it, it'll take of you" type of cars, and so far in my 2+ years of owning it, it's been doing just that. New tires will run you around $1,000+ so be cautious of that as well. Hopefully the one you're looking at has good tires. Don't let all this scare you though, ANY car will have it's flaws, especially used. These are just this ones. It's otherwise a VERY nice car to own and drive, and the Ecoboost makes this car a total sleeper at lights and on the highway. Damn good highway gas mileage too.
MAN_ON_WHEELZ thank you so much for getting me this info, it’s a 2011 and I think after this its defiantly my choice. I appreciate the help
Excellent! Thank you!
My second Lincoln love. My first and only true love is......... THE LINCOLN LS. Got one in the garage right now
My stepdad jus got one of these and it's so fun driving and it's pretty fast too
The Balls of a ride...Now that is how your REVIEW A CAR!
this engine sounds amazing
fake generated engine sound
@@kingflippynips3102 nope
I noticed that it has regular Michigan plates, not manufacturer or dealer plates. Who's car did you borrow?
nice vid
I was gonna say. It's always refreshing to see journalists merge at a high rate of speed...unlike 95% of traffic lol
Nice to see the American's are finally making some nice cars.
It is hard to find a good review of this particular vehicle. I like this review and the way the various features, such as the driver information system, lane keeping and parking systems, are shown.
It’s too bad there was no close-up of the BLIS system. I am wondering how well that works.
I wish there was a ride across a railroad crossing to demonstrate the suspension and road noise.
I have the same car, the blind spot system is great. All cars should have it as standard equipment.
Nice, I have to get me 1 look like a good car to drive
Awesome...
Does this have the EcoBoost Engine?
This car is loaded wit Tech
Morning Star!
Cool.!
Im sure that body roll is courtesey of the low tech macpherson suspension in the front.
I dig this American car.
Nice car, will definitley rent for my trip to las vegas
Well there where nice cars before. I like Dodge Avenger, Charger and Challanger also new Buicks looks very nice, along with modern technology.
Fisker Karma looks fantastic inside and outside but i don't know how reliable they are.
I like the sound pf the ford Taurus SHO but im not crazy about the sound of the MKS
It seems fast. What is the time from 0 to 60 MPH?
I think around 5.5 seconds, this car is no slouch
Wondering how many miles one of these 2013 ecoboost one will last? Looking at one with 189k miles. Any thoughts you guys?
I would say that's too high of mileage
As long as it has the water pump update, you'll be fine.
That’s higher mileage but I’ve seen ecoboosts with 600k miles
3.7 or 3.5?
Wow, what a CAR! And who know, it's Amercian! It is so nice that our country is producing some world class cars again, not just for our market, but automobiles that can transistion from the U.S. to overseas. And as always, GREAT video!
I own a 2015 best car I ever bought period!
355 hp twin turbo will kick some ass on the road !!! 0-60 6 seconds . Ford Company is making progress !!
365 in the 2013-1016 gen, with a tune that's 400+
Woops im thinking of the mkz
I have the same car with Chestnut interior. It's a large sedan and much better than the Town Car I've had two of those the technology in the car is great works well and you don't have to be a computer programmer to use it. The My Key is great, you can set top speed and other features should someone other than yourself drive the car. I got rid of my Jaguar XF Supercharged V8 Portfolio Edition to get the Lincoln. It's a much nicer car. With a better ride and a lot more features. Love it plan on my next car being a Continental.
I have a Jaguar XF, getting rid of it for this one.
Thats basically the 2013 cadillac ats same side different grill and lights
👍🔥
I kinda like the previous generation MKS... Just my opinion! :)
It definitely looks better, this car would look much better if Lincoln gave it a ford-like grille
I’m eye balling this same car, but a 2014 $10,995 with 92k on the dash. I just noticed this one has the lane keep, and the park assist. The car I’m eyeballing doesn’t have those features.
You don't need that anyway
Just more sensors that can foul.
You don't need it.
I found a 2014 MKS EcoBoost AWD that I think has every option available. It only has 11,000 miles on it and looks to be almost new. The dealer has had the car on the lot for sale for over seven months and can't get rid of it. I'm thinking of making a low ball offer but I can buy a 2013 Cadillac XTS4 Platinum for the same money. The MKS looks a bit dated to me and the Caddy looks super sleek and up to date, it's a dilemma I tell yah.
I don't regret buying my XTS. But that Lincoln mks ecoboost is something!
ilirshqiptar The 2013 Lincoln MKS has 365 HP, not 355 HP!

Where I live a lot of old ladies own these lol. Though there's this one elderly lady who has a gold Jaguar XJ8 -.-
I HATE how so many cars have the capability to drive themselves but they don't because the manufacturers don't wanna be held responsible for something that goes wrong. I don't think that there's too much worry about.
The car manufacturers would get mega sued if anything bad happened so that's most likely why, this car can't really drive itself but it can stay between lanes and park itself which is great.
It's KINDA performance car. Seems more like a Luxury version of Taurus SHO, which is a performance sedan, pretty cool, but this is no M5.
It's much bigger than a 5 series, even bigger than the same years 7 series, when tuned it's just as fast
VERY impressed with this car. lincoln needs to take some of the "fordness' out of it though to be a great car.
No way... I've got a '10 SHO & this sounds much better! I'm trading up to this L-dawg; this has an exellent level of luxury you just don't get in the SHO.
والله يا فيها فخامه موب صاحيه بس شكلها الخرجي لك عليه {:(~_~):} ........
That is a Taurus made by Lincoln
About to trade in my 2010 mkT for one
Please what is your experience with mkt? Can you recommend it for someone?
@@Don_Latino rides super smooth, has plenty of cargo room. Next year I'm getting rid of my Navigator for one. I miss it. Especially the huge ass sunroof, plus it's quiet. Can't go wrong.
Vernon Paige Jr. I need to get one, do you know the cost of 2010 Mkt
@@Don_Latino they are probably about 10k now, I got up to 168k miles before water pump blew
@@13jrvernonthat's pretty high mileage out of the water pump, could get it replaced along with the timing chains and guides
Do it drive itself
MKZ not NKZ
oops
Does Lincoln use real wood like Cadillac?
Yes
I can't understand what the people see so much in the 3.5 turbo EcoBoost.,..this is a large car luxury that does not require all wheel drive in any way shape or form the 3.7 is a much better car with less over engineering to go wrong...... I've worked on both the 3.5 and the 3.7.….the 3.7 is a better engine and will absolutely Outlast the 3.5....
Appreciate your opinion. 👍🏾
I'm currently in the market for one.
@@bigtreesfall AWD makes for better grip/launch. Look into the Taurus Limited AWD as well. Bought one a month ago and couldn't be happier.
Luxury cars bababababyyyyyy
that seems like a lot of road noise for a luxury car.
that center console just says its going to not last shit is gonna break
3rdgen4runnerguru My 2013 just broke lol.
سكتم بكتم
There is no explanation
Ecoboost 0-60 comes in at 5.0 seconds... So they claim
so the claim. this car is not that fast.
Oh but it is. I own a 2016 and it gets up! @@davidkruse4030
5.5 is 0-60 with a tune it can go under 5
You not watch the video? Pause at 0:22
now bring back the town car n drop a 5.0 in it just up date it what do they mean it wasnt worth it now lincoln is losing to cadillac
The Taurus looks leagues better, IMHO
Yeah but these are as much 3 grand cheaper for the same mileage and year 🤷♂️
This car doesn't look terrible though, I think it looks decent, but the Taurus definitely takes the beauty contest
Seems a bit loud from road noise.
Yeah. A lot of engine noise when on the pedal
Как какой то Ниссан Альмера или вообще китайская машина. Громкое имя и такой примитивный дизайн.
69 degrees. LOL
typical, people merging at 50 mph on a highway thats 65 mph
i know and when your moms takes her clothes off it gets worst
So, now it's uglier heavier and just as anemic as before? Well, at least the tech is interesting. Too bad even that will be outdated in a year or two...
11 years later and the tech isn't outdated lol
and who the hell follows that? no one.
and why would I buy this over an SHO? Ford..it isnt enough. Dump the volvo chassis and get serious. The new NKZ looks like a Fusion. I fear for Lincoln like I feared for Mercury
Well, all the cars are dead now
if only they weren’t so unsafe i get one
They're solid in every category besides slight overlap crash which it wasn't designed for, in every other crash it'll be very safe
it's completely ugly from outside
Over priced fusion
+chris driscoll No lol this is a sleeper 355hp
the 2013+ is 365 hp lmao. amazing what they can do with a v6 these days.
+Stevenson Nutgobbler It's not even related to a Fusion.
You don’t know what you’re talking about
Not even on the same chassis as the fusion
