It feels like a very special privilege to have this intimate look at the natural home of these beautiful creatures, that we so often take for granted. It's hard to pick a favourite scene but it would likely be the footage of parent fish with their broods.
My 12 year old son and I have recently started keeping fresh water fish and the information in this documentary really helps us understand what the natural habitat of some of these fishes are really like. Hopefully we can recreate them successfully in our aquariums. Thank you very much for creating and posting this documentary.
One of the best documentary on aquarium fish in their natural habitat. I would have seen this video over 20 times over and over again but never got tired of it.
Your documentaries rock. I wish I was rich enough to send you money for this. I'm not. But you deserve to be supported if there is any economic want in your life. You are creating an education tool of the highest quality in your work, much higher quality than most any others I've seen in any language. You inspire biophilia, which is among the most necessary things to do in these very precarious times.
Not to be too much the pessimist, but the footage you have recorded may well represent THE LAST remaining intact, pristine freshwater ecosystem examples on the planet. That being noted, you and your production staff are truly pioneers in the freshwater aquatic world. Thanks for all you have contributed.
Jake Scot this is indeed true and truly sad. I never see any big conservation “companies” say anything about it. Only the Aquarium Industry talks about it, and even that is minimal. I really hope we can atleast save some of them because our aquariums aren’t the most stable too.
@Sin Synn cool awesome there, relax and watch your fav youtube , yt will recommend 8 to 7 yrs vids and also hope yt recommend my aquarium videos as well, and cheers new friend
This is a wonderful niche documentary for young people who live in a transitory bio environment, without having to take an expensive trip into the big world, by just staying home and exploring their immediate eco systems. A perfect adventure ! Thankyou for taking the time and doing a great and essential piece of work. I wish I were rich enough to $ your work. Perhaps I will soon.

You are a brave man to jump into those waters! Interesting how no habitat has the look of these prestine clear, algae free aquascaping tanks, and still they are astonishingly beautiful!..
It's beautiful to see the fish swimming in their natural habitat. The sounds of nature, of tribal singing and well-paced, easy-going voice over made it both super informative and serene to listen to. Great camera work - vantage points and captivating perspectives: both day and night, throughout the behaviour shifting seasons... thank you!
This is one of the most moving films in nature i have ever watched. i was touched deeply and i thank you for making it. absolutely super!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I have this on my favorites. The length of this video makes it a visual trip. For variety I play it on mute putting my own music in background. Swimming with the snake is amazing. .The love of the intricacies of creation shines forth in the production and the posting .
You guys are brilliant showing not just the water but how the surrounding habitat effects the water parameters .Which is very important to us hobbyist.Love the video please keep them coming.
