There are many types of "mechanized robots" in 40k. Dreadnaughts are used by crippled astartes and while they are big "knight" class robots are even bigger and belong to noble families that have been around defending their worlds since before the imperium came along. Titans are the biggest class with the most variety of sizes. They range from godzilla to a spaceship with legs.
The end were a company of Iron warriors acompanied by 3 armiger class knights and what could either be a rhino heavy apc, ore more likely a landraider super heavy tank although I could not see which variant. (Their are I think 9 diffrent landraider variants by now)
Boxy, stumpy legs and arms, walking fridge just somewhat taller than a space marine in terminator armor - Dreadnaughts. Hunched profile, a head with something like a medieval helmet, tall legs and about the size of a one or two stories house, decorated with medieval coats of arms - Knights. Anything else - Mechanicus Titans. Average human soldiers wearing proper military gear but decorated with Chaos symbols, operate at least somewhat we a cohesive military unit - Traitor Guardsmen. Blood Pact are an exceptional Traitor Guard regiment because they maintained their cohesion and discipline unlike most traitor guard. Ramshackle humans in rags, robes and any other type of civilian clothing with improvised gear also decorated with Chaos symbols, operate from the shadows with subversive, terrorist and guerrilla tactics - Chaos Cult.

Dreadnoughts can be considered a third variant of mech for the Imperium however their are more like walking lifesupportsystem and walking coffin. Dreadnoughts are way more bulky than knights and most are way slower. They are also typicly less armed than knights.
8:55 thats an armiger class knight. Their are 2 variants of "mechs" the empire has (well technicaly you could to some degree call some mechanicus weapons a mech aswell but descussing this would last literal weeks inside the fanbase). What ever their are titans and their are knights. The main diffrents the titan depending on the class is crowed by sometimes hundreds of people with between 3 to 6 main pilots. A knogh however is way smaller and is crewed by one person. Both have one thing in comen which is a neural link with the titans AI, I mean machine spirit ofcource :). This neural link can in theory kill them but ut also allows them exspecially knights to basicly talk to every pilot ever as their mind is sometimes outright pulled into the knight, sometimes copied (all after death).
The armiger class is the smalles class of knight. They are typicly piloted by squires of real knights and are smaller, weaker, and have weaker weapon but dont let it fool you it is still extremly dangerous to infantry, light and medium AFVs and heavy infantry (space marines). All this depents on the weapons on Board. Their are doctrines and typical standart configurations in theory but most titans and knights are armed after a combination of: pilot preference, mission parameters and weapons available. It in theory has a void shield aswell. Although all knights no matter the class have only a smaller voidshield which is incapable of encompassing the hole knight. This shield has no physical form but rather its as if the pilot has to turn the shield around his mech if that is understandable.

Yeah, there are stubbers and autoguns in 40k which are basically just advanced modern firearms, considered slightly worse but cheaper than lasguns. The older editions of 40k depicted heavy stubbers as basically just an MG-34, with a stub pistol literally just being a 1911.
Thats pretty sweet thought not going to lie! Thought I do figure with how armoured everything is, small kinetic arms would probably be ineffective against anything other then unsupported infantry! Thank you for sharing!
6:50 that are chaos cultists, possible the blood pact, an absolute elite chaos warband composed of ex imperial guars veterans that fell to khorne. They really represent the old khorne lore that I definetly prefer more than modern khorne lore. Because back in the day khoren truly was "the" god of war and battle in all his forms. Even artillery and ranged combat was totally legit because its an aspect of war and khoren doesnet cares whos and how the blood is spilled as long as it is spilled. Today khorne is nothing more than an autistic murdermachine which is boring in comparison to old. However the blood pact if its them are more than superior to most "normal" and also cadian guard regiments.
They are actually a very worthy foew for the Death Korps as they are just as fanatic but at the same time pragmatic as hell (just like the Death Korps) :)
